Just received a text that Springsteen tomorrow night at MSG has been postponed.

FYI.
Have a suite to take our top sales coverage and their significant others.
No word on the new date in my text.

FYI.

Shoot a PM if you have any cancellations for the new date. Trying to take my wife for her birthday. Thanks.

Should be a decent drop in prices on StubHub. I bought hard tickets from Craigslist yesterday when I was in NYC for about face value. Best seats I have ever gotten for a Bruce show, except for being in the Pit in front of the stage. I'm done with standing in line for the it though--too much time to stand all night.

Be careful of Craigslist tickets. Too many bad stories of counterfeits and since you say you got seats close to face, I hope didn't happen to you.

I agree. I would never buy tickets off of Craig list. With the ability to cancel ticket and reprint them even "real tickets" can be worthless.

How does one cancel and reprint a "real ticket" (not a.print at home ticket)? Is there a way to check with ticketmaster that the ticket is legitimate?

I know for Penn State tickets it easy. You log into your ticketmaster account and tell them you want to transfer your ticket. It cost $3 and they email you a print from home ticket. The previous bar code is cancelled. The other way I can do it is go to the box office show my id and they will print new ticket. (I know people who done this when they forgot tickets). You may be able to verify them with ticketmaster but they can be cancelled at any time.

Also if you buy from Craigslist they have no way refunding for cancelation. Often when events are cancelled or moved ticketmaster gives you two options. Full refund and you tickets will be cancelled or just use them in the new date.

My wife works at Metlife Stadium in the ticket office and talks about this all the time. It is a problem particularly with Stubhub, as they are not affiliated with the Giants or Jets. As you know, when someone sells their tickets on Stubhub the original "real" ticket becomes invalid. Then the individual sells or gives away the "real" tickets which of course won't get anyone into the stadium. The print at home tickets are often bogus as well. Stubhub knows all this and usually has people on site to deal with it. The best advice the ticket office gives is to buy secondary tickets from a vendor that has an official affiliation with the venue you are going to.

heard Bruce was stuck in Fla..even with private jet, couldnt get real time that he could make it back into the area..
Hard tickets off stub hub can still be fake?

Saw Springsteen at the Wonder bar with Joe Grushecky (surprise appearance)back in July. I was 20 ft from the stage. Nothing can compare. Oh and the ticket was 20 bucks.
