Foreman improved a lot this past season. Anyone who states otherwise has no credibility. He was more aggressive offensively. He was stronger, physically. His free throw shooting was certainly improved, especially in the 2nd half of the season.
That said, his ability to finish around the basket was not very good. He turned the ball over WAY too much - part of playing "too fast" and out of control. And his defense was ... awful. Even on a poor defensive team, his lack of ability to defend on the ball, in the post, or to adequately play help defense stood out dramatically.
He will be missed, and he would have had a chance to improve more, and contribute. On the other hand, it is not like there are not players available either for 2017 or beyond that cannot duplicate or exceed what he could provide.
