The elephant in the room…

Let’s get realistic. We are starting, in terms of minutes, three freshman playing games that last forty minutes vis a vis thirty two minutes in high school. They will be playing guys who are more physically mature and more experienced from a basketball perspective. There will be lots of traveling over the course of the season. The season is far longer than in high school. The bottom line is that there will be a “wall” at some point. There is no way they can. be expected to run up and down the court and play stifling defense without cost.

I’m not sure it’s the elephant in the room. There is a concern with freshmen in general, historically. I’m not sure if the data bears it out. I’m sure there’s data on freshmen who start and subsequently go on to the pros. How’s their production at seasons end.?
