Never easy to play against the triple option and NM apparently runs it well. Rough game for this defense, but offense scores enough to pull out a squeaker 35-31.
Have you seen our first two games? We've looked equally awful. Should be a close game.
I think we wear them down and win by 16. If our "D" doesn't control the game, it's going to be high scoring.
We are 2-4 against the MW opponents, soon to be 3-4, I am not worried about the run defense as much as giving up the big play in the air. Also the TO factor that is CL and the lack of our defense in getting the ball away from them. But I am going to say 42-41 in OT our superior conditioning wears them down.

New Mexico will roll up the yards, but RU will wear down the Lobos. New Mexico is minus their best defensive player and leading rusher. I also expect Laviano to protect the ball better. Assuming we don't lose badly on turnovers, RU 38 NM 21
