You had some posters say, " I don't think losses in advance", now it's more like " there are at least 4 or 5 losses built in this year". Boy, how things have changed, and not for the better.

Well, this is a dumb thread. Honestly, the last time anyone thought we'd go 12-0 was back in the last century when we opened with Lehigh and Columbia. How could anyone think we were gonna start our stint in the Big Ten by waltzing through Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nebraska ? Yes, this season is a big disappointment, but Big Ten membership never meant that we'd suddenly be battling for a national championship. We lost our qb, our fb, our te, and three O-lineman, and our star wr for a good chunk of the season on offense. and 3-4 of our D-line, one lb, and virtually our entire secondary from last year. Who thought we'd be better with those losses this season ? Yeah...we're RUTGERS. We don't rebuild....we reload.

Sorry but other than RutgersAL I have never seen anyone post that we would ever go 12-0.

I remember a certain ex baseball player saying he never concedes a Rutgers loss before the season starts,I'm sure of it, and there were plenty that would chime in with him. There is nothing wrong with that, and it did happen on more than one season under Greg.

I was one of those people, definitely.

Before every season started I truly did believe then anything can happen, never say never, especially when we were known for blitzing like crazy and causing problems in the backfield.

Definitely don't feel that way anymore.
