I've seen this rumor floated years ago and still don't understand where it comes from. Is Goody itching to be an AD? I'd start with adding Ashnault as an assistant (yeah they need to add budget for another assistant) and have him also work with Pollard at SKWC a ton. He's not ready for an associate HC position.
Agreed. I'm not sure there's enough money right now in just doing that, so I'd guess he wants to also coach or be a resident athlete to supplement that income.
Freestyle criteria is so senseless. The argument for “last point wins” is that they don’t want the guy with a lead to stall and instead continue to push the pace. The problem is that if you are tied and hold the lead on criteria, theoretically you can stall all you want until you get called for passivity. The problem doesn’t change, just the situation when the problem can arise is different.
How so as I've read people were pleased with the coverage if they used Peacock because you can watch individual mats? NBCSN TV channel not so much as they don't focus on all of the best matches so you miss some.
That's odd as I thought individual mats were still on Peacock. Oh well.
Yeah but I hate his style right now of mostly defense and counter wrestling with almost no shots. He took 1 shot in 2 matches and earned a push out point. And I really could've done without the t-bagging episode.
Gilman pinned him in the 2nd period of the 1st match. Haven't wrestled 2nd match.
