Are we guaranteed to play at Met Life Stadium next Friday if we win or tie tonight vs. Paraguay in Philly ? If so, are we guaranteed to play Brazil ?

There is a slim chance of us winning the group which would send us elsewhere- that happens if we win and Columbia loses. Most likely outcome with win or tie is met life

With a win or draw we are most likely playing Brazil at Metlife. That's not 100% set in stone as there is still a slim chance of us winning the group (if we beat Paraguay and Costa Rica beats Colombia). Also there's still a chance that Peru beats Brazil which would put Brazil in 2nd place in their group, but the most likely scenario is USA vs. Brazil in the quarters.

Costa Rica currently up 2-1

Huge win by our USMNT!! gutsy effort in a very tough and hard played game

Watching the Costa Rica game on Univision now. I have no idea what they're saying (lol) but at least it is in high-def. Fox Sports 2 sucks with the grainy picture.

Costa Rica up 3-1. Would really like to win the group. Maybe get Peru if this score holds then someone like Mexico before having Argentina or Brazil in final. There is potential there.
I didn't see our game, how did we get four against Costa Rica.

Oops 3-2 Costa Rica

A Peru win very likely puts Brazil out of the tournament, as Ecuador gets to 5 points with a win over Haiti. Brazil probably wins the group with a tie, unless Ecuador bests their 7-1 win over Haiti. That tie would probably give Ecuador second place instead of Peru, because Peru only beat Haiti 1-0.

All in all, should be two very meaningful Copa games today.

I know Colombia didnt put out their best players, but wow did Los Ticos play an unbelievable game. What an entertaining game

And, it lends credence to the pounding we put on them.

Love the way our guys are playing right now. Let's keep the train rollin'....

I want Brazil because people on this board seem to doubt the our fanbase. We will out draw anyone for a match of this magnitude.

Peru will more than likely lose against Brazil. Peru has not beaten Brazil in over 30 years. Happy how our team played.

Are you also watching UEFA EURO 2016? Great soccer but the european hooligans are putting their stain on the games. It's too bad French security forces are struggling with these drunkard fans.

And then we hear that OSU is going to sell beer at football games in their campus stadium. When will they ever learn?

Ohio St just announced they will sell beer at football games, they had the AD on Sirius/XM and they did an exhaustive review of college stadiums that switched to allowing beer sales to the fans (besides the luxury box fans) and in every single instance (more than 8) arrests and incidents went down significantly. In some cases (West Va) over 60per cent.

"Ohio State joins universities across the country -- like Texas, West Virginia, Minnesota and Louisville -- that sell alcohol at football games. Here's a list from USA Today on schools that sold alcohol at football games last season."

Are you kidding me? Really? More than 8? Who ran that exhaustive study, the Beer Distributers of America?

And how about DUI arrests or car accidents AFTER the game?

We play Ecuador on Thursday night.

Great match up for us (all things considered).
