Westerman

Loved this part and it might just get him return to the NFL .
>”Team MVP. Team Defensive MVP. Top Canadian in the Western Conference. Runner-up up for the top Canadian in the league. Named to the Western Conference's All- Star team. Voted by coaches and fellow players as a CFL All-Star, equivalent to the NFL and their All-Pro award. It was a great year for Westerman, his 17 sacks for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers pacing his team. “<
Hope he gets his wish and Ash lets him be around RU’s spring practice helping out where he can.

Would not be smart of Ash to not allow former players like Westerman, Leonard, McCourty's etc. back to program. This has to be on a top 10 -- reach out to former players -- once he gets here in January.

He is a class act - I spoke to him on occasion at bowl or away games - represents himself and RU very well.....Rutgers Royalty

Honestly not really sure he gets another shot at the NFL. I really hope he will, but not sure with the increase in NFL minimum salaries. However, with the US dollar doing a lot stronger than the Canadian, its impossible not to want to go after that chance with the income difference. Still remember calling him about an hour after he got home from his Rutgers OV to tell him that it was already leaked that he committed. Absolutely disappointed in it, but still knew it was the right decision.
