I think the RAC is going to be nuts tomorrow and I am very much looking forward to the game.

Should we defeat Seton Hall tomorrow, how much of a "program lift" would this win generate?

I don't think it would be huge but I do think it will capture the "attention" of many top notch NY / NJ recruits (who prior would probably not even give us a look) given the perceived upward mobility of the program; the coaching staff and a pending "resurgence" on hand - for the team as well as for the RAC.

Let's Go RU!

There is no one game that does anything for the program....if you win and it's not followed up with other quality wins, then it looks and feels like beating Grown a few years ago or Miami in year 1 of Rice with 8 players...those games set the table for the next season where it wasn't just Florida, it was Notre Dame at home and others that season including a sweep of SetonHall...

This isn't a statement game as much as it's a milestone on the marker...we will look back as Michigan State and FSUas the games that set the table for league play.

The goals remain the same...be better in December than November....be better in January vs December....

Two years from now when the roster is turned over and Baker, Mathis, Carter, Harper Kiss Thiam Eugene Myles Doucoure host SH, there will be a legitimate rebuilt and retooled roster expected to be the one to get RU wins...what we get tomorrow is part of the development towards that step where RU wants to be.

Tomorrow is about stealing and an opportunity to accelerate that process...if it's followed up with quality efforts hosting Wisconsin, OSU, Iowa Nebraska......

Wins can fool teams and fans on where they stand...it's done over 30 games, not one...

This is a in state perception game that will have some impact on local recruiting. The goal for this year should be a winning season and that will require winning some games where Rutgers will be the underdog.Winning league games at home will be necessary to achieving that goal.

Per Adam Zagoria from the Father of a Big Time 2019 Recruit "Take Notice Rutgers finally has a terrific Head Coach". Gentleman and Ladies: put on your seat belts as the action surrounding our program has taken a B1G step forwards.....

Its no secret. RUTGERS is no longer a pushover
We started earning that RESPECT last year
and we are earning even MORE so far this year
