Rutgers football at Michigan St. or Rutgers basketball vs. Texas A&M in Las Vegas ?
Years back we had this huge tv with PIP. Theoretically, you could watch two events on a split screen. It didn't work for me. In trying to watch two games at the same time, I found that I was actually watching neither of them.
But maybe that's just me.
Both…plus other football games…at a bar. Easy-peasy..
Gotta agree with kbee. Trying to watch two games at the same time.. not easy to fully immerse in both.Years back we had this huge tv with PIP. Me too. I think I'll watch the football game and record the basketball game.I will probably be opposite of fluoxetine. Watch football and tape basketball. My daughters good friend is home from school this weekend. She goes to MSU and will probably be over at our house for the game.
Same here, although the 17" laptop will be - wait for it - on my lap.Both. 🏈 on the B1G screen, as God intended, and 🏀 on the 17" laptop on the coffee table. Plenty of time to be in real time with all the ads.
Unfortunately, whatever game you watch it's hard to the avoid the real-time score that's on the bottom of the screen.
Old VHS tapes are excellent for stacking up to block the ticker and minimal of the game. This is a great point.
Hadn’t really considered that.
Unless the TV is mounted well above any surface below - could require a small mountain of tapes or maybe game boxes. My recommendation would be to cut a 2" strip (by as many feet wide as one needs) of wrapping paper and tape it at each end to the back of the TV. I wouldn't use even painter's tape directly on a TV, as the adhesive residue could affect the TV surface, although not 100% sure on that, but why take the risk when there are non-tape solutions?Old VHS tapes are excellent for stacking up to block the ticker and minimal of the game.
As long as the game you are looking to avoid isn’t one of the major ones, a full screen update is unlikely. Just have to be careful around halftime. No problem with a different sport being avoided.

They really need an option to drop that off the screen. Would only increase eyeballs across sports programming.Unfortunately, whatever game you watch it's hard to the avoid the real-time score that's on the bottom of the screen.
I bet big money on Illinois to beat NU big.Rutgers football at Michigan St. or Rutgers basketball vs. Texas A&M in Las Vegas ?

I’m going to blockout the bottom section of my TV.I wonder if they'll do live check-ins?
They would also be a problem.
Watching football on TV and hoops on my laptop, while occasionally posting from my phone, largely worked for me, although I missed a few plays here and there. Will probably rewatch football, as I like rewatching wins, but probably won't rewatch hoops, as I hate reliving losses.Plan went awry. Watched football and glanced at basketball during ads and couldn't follow.
