..is the result of all those decommits of a few years ago. Didn't we have one of the best recruiting classes in the league at one point? And then one by one they decommitted. I don't even remember how many but it was a lot. Those guys would have either been true juniors or redshirt sophs now and the backbone of the team. Now we have to overcome three solid years of subpar recruiting. Yeah we got a few good players here and there but not nearly enough of them to be competititive in the Big Ten. So now we have to hope Ash can keep the commits we have and keep recruiting his butt off.

5 4* guys decommitted, including Saquon Barkley. The gradual unraveling of that class was brutal.

I totally agree Knight82! For those 3 sub-par recruiting classes Ash will need 3 great recruiting of his own to put this puzzle back together. I can't understand why people can't see what Flood has done to this program!

My Lord some of us have been saying this - incessantly, I know - for nearly 3 years now!!!

But ready yourself because according to a couple of guys posting the last couple of days - both with newer monikers if memory serves me correct - this is NOT about "talent" lol!!!

Inability by the previous staff to bring in skill position players except at RB was a major issue as we all know and I'm not even talking about 4-5* can't miss prospects.

That will not be a problem with the young men coming in next year. You see freshmen at WR all over the place and a solid WR or two can make the QB's life so much easier.

Flood has left this program in shambles and still walked out with a great payday! How Nice! He has left us with no receivers, no quaterbacks and no offensive line which I believe was his strong point to begin with! Now it's up to Ash to put Humpty Dumpty back together. And I believe he will! Need at least 3 years though!
