I mean there is pretty much no one in the stands . What’s the point of having this detail on gameday ? Maybe there is a reason?

Players parents are still there. The ones whose kids don't play don't take kindly to itI mean there is pretty much no one in the stands . What’s the point of having this detail on gameday ? Maybe there is a reason?
Ha those parents aren’t going to attack schianoPlayers parents are still there. The ones whose kids don't play don't take kindly to it
Political BS. Nothing stadium staff or local Police couldn't do.I mean there is pretty much no one in the stands . What’s the point of having this detail on gameday ? Maybe there is a reason?
And with ours having the best uniform in the business...I like it.Is see state troopers at many State University sidelines. It's a thing.
Count on the income ? Cmon give me beakThink of it as RUs way of supporting the state police. Both the dept and the individuals count on the income, none of this COVID stuff is their fault. Rutgers is better able to absorb the financial hit.
plus, imagine the PR nightmare if something we’re to happen and police presence was undermanned due to “eh, we don’t need as many with no fans at the games”.
It is a thing, yes in normal times . Why the need for it now ? Seems like a waste of money considering so few fans . There needs to be some police presence, sure . But not this amountIs see state troopers at many State University sidelines. It's a thing.
Who is there besides Rutgers and the State Police? It is a thing, yes in normal times . Why the need for it now ? Seems like a waste of money considering so few fans . There needs to be some police presence, sure . But not this amount
I think just those two . Seems like there is a lot of them, considering the fan limits.Who is there besides Rutgers and the State Police?
It was a question . That no one seemed to answer .another slanted comment by --guess who--are you really a RU fan?????
Yes, normally. But very little fansBetween crazy gamblers and crazy fans, it’s important to protect coaches, officials and players; and in case you didn’t know, one reason why they do it is so that any attacker could also be charged with attacking a trooper which of course, carries a harsher punishment.
Well if it’s just RUPD and the State Police I don’t think it’s a big deal.I think just those two . Seems like there is a lot of them, considering the fan limits.

Somebody post up the video of the NJSP at the Jets game with the perfect open field tackle.
It could be that, even with no tailgates at home games, the local police feel the need to patrol the lots looking for underage drinkers.
Thus the need for State Police to protect Greg from the invisible man .
Also now-a -days , you can't tell the good guy from bad because both wear masks😝
The last few years, I've even noticed uniformed South Brunswick cops in the concourse. Flat out silly. Just another in an endless string of waste, fraud and abuse everywhere in the state.Well if it’s just RUPD and the State Police I don’t think it’s a big deal.
But if you see some UMDNJ, New Brunswick, Piscataway and Middlesex County guys I’m with you on the overkill.
Better to see state troopers than that little, fat guy who used to always be at Schiano's side in his first go round. Never understood what his job was
That "little fat guy" is Scott who is now a retired NJ State Trooper, & he was part of Schiano's security detail along with Kenny who was a RU police man, & Big Bruce.
Yes.I don’t know what the protocols are but other than in terrain under the jurisdiction of local and county police, shouldn’t ALL security in and out of the stadium and university property be RUPD?
Payola ....corrupt NJ
I mean some police force but they seem to have quite a bit there.
middlesex county sheriffs office might have a huge hole in its budget this year . Not getting paid for Ru home games. Not getting all the BS tickets they were giving out in the parking lot.
