For one, heads up its not on CBS, its on TBS...yeah the first channel you think of when you sit down to watch the brackets..IMO big mistake and I bet you ratings down and people will just flip to ESPN when they find out that its not on CBS

Secondly the stupid idea to read the names of the schools that made it alphabetically..what the ****..why would you do this? The whole point is the drama of what schools are going to be making it in from the bubble. Thank you CBS for ruining the experience and I hope that the RU grad Harlod Bryant a producer at CBS linked in the article didnt have something to do with this.

It was like when Coke changed their formula, why try to fix something that isn't broke. They just do not get it do they?

they must be doing this because they have received backlash on how long it takes to give the brackets...but that is only because they have turned it from a one hour show to a 2 hour show. Its all about ratings and money but I am probably more likely to head over to ESPN to watch this now as I feel some of the CBS pundits like Barkley have zero sense of the college game. They most certainly will get a backlash over this move when people realize whats going on, that is if they find the channel

Coke changed formula to taste men like Pepsi to corner the market. Instead, it lost market share since if you wanted a Pepsi you'd buy a Pepsi not a "new" coke. Guarantee viewership will be down for this show. Alternative - Dukie V on ESPN. Think ill wait to see the brackets on Monday at The Book.[sick]

the list will be revealed but not seeding so you have to wait for that anyhow. I would think more people would now switch to espn to see the actual brackets come out

I see no issue with it at all. You want them jerk you around for 2 hours before you find out who did/didn't make it? Why? Pretty sure ESPN is only going to get the info AFTER it is announced on TBS although they'll have it up quickly.. Much ado about nothing. I don't quite get how this ruins the experience. When you watch this show most people care first and foremost who did and didn't make it and they tell you that first. Secondarily, people then care about the matchups and brackets so you can focus on that when they announce that second. Makes perfect sense to me if you're going to have a 2 hour show.

I like the old way. I didn't mind the breaks in between. Time to digest who is left and who is not. I enjoyed when there was on region left and trying to figure out what teams were left and that teams X, Y, and Z were left but only two at large spots...that type of thing

Stupid idea . Also that it’s not on CBS . I get it probably contractural obligations, but haven’t seen anything promoting it on tbs. I hope there is a lead in game to the program.

I did the same thing but what you care about at that point is who is in and who is out. They'd spend 30-45 minutes announcing the brackets and Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis would be going on and on about potential paths to the final four for this region or that and seedings and no one was paying attention to that because all they cared about was who was in or out. I think the "outrage" is a little overblown, that's all. To each his own. I'll be watching no matter what.

because there was nothing wrong with the old system..and it created drama for the bubble schools..they took that away, it was a big deal for hardcore junkies. The show does not need to go on for 2 hours

they changed because the bracket leaked on twitter before they finished releasing it last year. They figure if they announce the teams that got in right away nobody can beat them to the scoop.

Ratings likely will drop harshly as soon as the list is revealed.
Maybe a little but people still want to know what Regional their team is in and who they're going to play and who they most likely would play in the next round

the real fans are watching on tv not twitter..why do they care...not sure why they have employees leaking the bracket....maybe they should deal with that internally

Fans of teams on the bubble are checking everywhere they can all at once. It started becoming a problem when they stretched the show from one hour to two. Hard to keep it under wraps that long.

I'm deliberately skipping the first 15 minutes of the show so I can experience it like it used to be done
