Wierdo Harbaugh to give Paramus Catholic HS Graduation Speech

Harbaugh might be unconventional but he's a hell of a coach....no doubt about it. The Big Ten East is going to be the toughest division in college football...better than the SEC!

There's no doubt in my mind now, with the addition of Ash at RU, that this can and will be the case soon enough. I 've got a slew of friends who are LSU guy (talked about this here before) and they all agree that its "possible," which is more than I ever expected to hear some of them say, lol!

Lighten up... its not going to happen.

The most ridiculous thing about this is PC having the ceremony at the pru center. Period.

But they have been having it there for years already, probably around 10. Before that, it was at FDU. They also had the first globally live-streamed high school graduation. One year they had kool and the gang perform right as the ceremony ended lol.

Isn't it kind of extremely transparent that he is doing this for recruiting visibility? The sad part is, as transparent and shameless it is .. nobody or organization has the power to actually stop it. Paramus Catholic loves it because it draws attention to them, Harbough again gets to put himself on a pedestal and look like a rock star, NCAA can't do anything about it ..
If it was us doing it first, the NCAA would stop it. It's what happened when GS started running out of state camps. The only ones that can stop this are the $EC/E$PN boys that own the NCAA. If the $EC starts doing it, then it won't ever be stopped.

Can the Bergen Record write a piece ripping this please? Divorced man who has cheated on his wife and gotten dui's giving the commencement speech at a CATHOLIC school. LOL

there is definitely buzz around this harbaugh thing and a collection of people who aren't ok with it. The people of NJ are sharp, they know exactly what is going on here with this speech.. and outside of the paramus catholic community, they don't like it.
There have been rumors of protest, which if would happen, would look horrible for harbaugh and could really backfire.
Wanna "Fence in the Garden" and show the state that we are the top dogs in town? Big Jim can't get in.

I know coach partridge very well. He's a good guy, super competitive and exactly the type of killer recruiter/coach that does well in the college game. We have to embrace what he brings to the table and then go out and beat him with our own people. Cant run from competition Rutgers, we have to smash people and put heads on spikes lol
We shoulda hired him, but didnt. Move on and beat him now

No one is going to protest his speech.

Some of our fans are being really dense about this. Harbaugh could go speak in the Pine Barrens to an endangered sea turtle, and guess what, NJ players would still be interested because HE WINS GAMES. He won at Stanford and with the 49ers and had a 10 win first year at Michigan.

While all that was happening, RU was being lead by a former math teacher who was duking it out with Old Dominion for recruits.

This thing would have never happened while Schiano was here, and it won't happen if Ash can make us respectable again.

I went to the Michigan game in Ann Arbor, and let me tell you that all but the student section was full at kickoff and it's a great campus and town. I would say our stadium is louder, but we need SOMETHING TO PLAY FOR.

Weakness was sensed. We bled into the water for 4 years and what happened to us is exactly what we did 2005-12 to the rest of the Northeastern programs on the recruiting trail. We need to get back to where we were and then, no one will care who is speaking.

I don't understand why some on this board are surprised or upset by this move. After all this is why we were invited to join the B1G, our media market and greater access to our high school recruits. For those programs in our division recruits are guaranteed two games in their home state in which they can invite their friends and family. Does anybody on this board honestly think we were invited because they want us to become a football power? If so, there is a bridge in Brooklyn that I would like to sell you. They want us to put a competitive product on the field, but they still want access to our best recruits, we can fight with Temple for the 2 and 3 star kids, just leave the 4 and 5 start kids to the big boys.

Nothing surprises me when it comes to the other B1G programs and NJ kids, our kids are here to be harvested, this is only the beginning. The longer we linger as a bottom feeder it is only going to get that much tougher to pull ourselves out of the hole and turn the program around. Hopefully, Ash can get us pointed in the right direction quickly.

you're just wrong. I don't know where to start but I know one thing.. I don't give a damn why the B1G invited Rutgers. Why we're here has no effect on how we should approach building our program.
The big ten gains a lot from having us in the league and don't forget that.
