It was a mirage - he did provide a spark for a few games. He needs to sit. RUUUUUUUUUU posting a starting lineup which is essentially the last card Pike has left to play - Grant, Sommerville, Harper, Bailey, and Acuff.

Reality check, know what is important in life.

I have been very upset reading all the negative comments about Steve, our staff and our players. I have been attending RU games since 1971 and only missed 4 home games since the RAC opened in 1977. I was in the hospital for four days and am home now after a very dangerous breathing problem. I thought I could not survive and am fighting for my life. I can’t understand all of the constant complaints about Steve, our staff and our players.It tears me apart. There are more important things in life like family and friends. Constantly complaining about our RU team is sad. The players and the coaches are wonderful. I see them practice once every week and I know first hand how hard they practice and how disappointed they all are but many just keep ripping them to shreds and seem to enjoy doing so. I think it is deplorable to do that. Some just need a reality Check on what is important in life. I might not survive and some here just are relentless in their bashing. I just hope and pray that many can realize the harm they are causing. Yes the team is struggling but these guys I know feel so bad already. I just wish the constant berating will stop and most will begin to encourage our team even more. I hope I can recover and can at some point get back to see practice and games again. I love attending and just hope the team can begin to win some games. I want to live but I know I might not. I have had a good life and just want my son and daughter in law and my six and two year old grand kids to do well. My wife who I loved dearly passed from cancer almost 11 years ago and I miss her every single day. I also lost my identical twin brother to cancer 26 years ago to cancer and none of us has never smoked in our lives. Please just remember that there are more important things in life.

Poor shot selection and finishing

With no real offense, we are stuck with watching the players take turns in trying to get a shot.

I'm pissed that Dylan was at the Indiana game and played against Wisconsin. How the hell did the staff let that happen? He was a corpse against Wisconsin. How could anyone think he could have played against Indiana? Staff and player both deserve blame on this screw up. What was he last night, 50-70%?

Is he going to be 100% for UCLA? While I firmly believe the season is over, going on a little 3-4 game win streak would give the optimistic fans a glimmer of hope. Need Dylan at 100%.

Theres a certain level of trust a coach needs to have in his players to do the basics which I don’t blame pike for. EO to catch that pass, Derkack to make the open lefty layup, etc. this is the problem when he hasn’t had more than two years with these guys and why he’s not a good coach in the NIL transfer portal era

The only rational or bargaining left we have is to say things are completely different offensively with a healthy Harper AND our overall defensive numbers were good/OK the last 2 games.....at levels that with average offensive numbers we win.

Now we can poke holes in the 75 pts in 70 poss vs Wisc AND 68pts in 63 last night and say.....24-35 and 24-32 from 2 is pathetic and we were bailed out last night by poor WISC 3 point shooting
