Rutgers begins Big Ten Conference action this weekend with back-to-back road matches at No. 24 Indiana in Bloomington and No 4 Ohio State in Columbus

To your earlier point I’m happy we won a few matches….one or two more and the match could be considered a success
Honestly winning the match would be considered a success. Winning 4 matches would definitely exceed my expectations though.

A Healthy Dylan Will Spark A Run

I’m no doctor but flu strains etc can take a long time for the body to recover - even for 18 year olds - to 100% especially when compromised by asthma etc.
I find it odd no other players elsewhere have realized a similar fate.
Whatever Dylan got was incredibly bad.
Tomorrow will be 13 days since he missed the game in Indiana and 16 days since his triple double

somewhat but also the shift of games to all different networks at odd times especially Peacock. It a disheartening to know the RU hoops season is over at the midway point of the season which might be the first time we can say it since Pikes 2nd year

im sure i will come around by the beginning of March
Season is definitely not over. If we get hot and everything breaks right the rest of the way, we can still be on the bubble for the B1G tournament.

Brady grows on me.
He names the routes and coverages from one play to another.
He said the out-cut route is the one most teams want to see at the combine.
See lots of those at RU - Out Route Central University
He’s getting better and growing into it. People were always going to be hyper focused on his mistakes because of the reported size of his contract.

Has this season made you lose your enthusiam for college basketball?

I'm a college hoops junkie. It's my favorite sport. I'll continue to watch with the same fervor.

I've followed the sport closely since I was a kid, as well as from 1992 through 2020 when Rutgers had three, maybe four, seasons in which it had a legitimate shot of getting a bid to the big dance. One disappointing season by my beloved Scarlet Knights is not going to stop me now.

NIL killed college hoops its now professional hoops

When and if.
The judge has given the House settlement preliminary approval and so the period has begun for past athletes to file claims. There have been objections to the terms of the agreement and the judge will rule on them in March. But none of the objections, as important as some of them are, affect the idea that the schools will start paying athletes directly.

Note also that, as the link says, litigation is moving forward on whether student athletes are "employees" for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act or the National Labor Relations Act. The House settlement may well affect that litigation.

It’s still unlikely but every path to upset Ohio State included wins by both Peterson and Shawver. Not having Olivieri stinks because he could keep 141 to a decision, but going to need to win a few toss ups the rest of the way. Might need some Soldano magic or a 6-4 bout split. There are some winnable matches throughout the night.
