Rutgers wrestling seeks elusive win over top 10 team Sunday against Illinois

I was at the match. I think I recall the guy you are referring to but don’t remember what it was in reference to. Maybe the number of cautions called? I know there were a few match, maybe SCW where a wrestler had 2 cautions.
I was hoping they would give Poz the TD but watching live I didn’t think he had it
Yeah. I was there too in section 104. It looked like time expired before Poz secured the takedown.

OT: Stock and Investment Talk

Learned early on that it doesn’t matter how good a sector looks, always diversify.
I am constantly dealing with my company equity (options and RSUs). Single stock risk really freaks me out. A portion of my RSUs vest every quarter and I normally sell and move the proceeds to something else. Love the company and bullish on its future, but holding so much stock from the company that also pays the bills is nuts! :)

Poor NIL is the biggest reason for our disappointing season

I did not say the apc is a dump. The rac is a dump. I also did not say it’s a liability. I said it is not a relative advantage. I also do not disagree with everything you say. I only disagree when I have a different opinion. We. Actually share similar views on lots of things. Just not basketball because you are a Smurf.
Disagree with RAC not being an advantage, it’s a massive advantage when it’s “on.”

The RAC has always created moments that causes an opposing team to have mental breakdowns. If a recruit is lucky enough to witness it in person, it can absolutely impact a recruitment. As previously mentioned, it happened with Ace.

From a fan game day experience, yes the RAC is a dump, but a 16-17 year old recruit doesn’t care about lack of bathrooms for 58 year old Tim from Sparta, NJ.

OT: A once disgraced coach is making $160K at a N.J. school. But is it just to win games?

So he's getting paid $9k to coach (which is a normal coaching stipend I believe).

And then coincidentally he's also then hired for a new obscure position that pays him $150k.
Makes perfect sense.........

Someone tell me again how it's "greedy kids only looking out for themselves" that is causing all these atheltic department (college and now HS) deficits.

OT: Sonoma State Dropping All Sports

I feel like most people go to a place like Sonoma or Rampo College or Indiana of Pennsylvania . That is the most common American collegiate experience. (Avg enrollment at U.S. colleges is 6,300) If they are dropping sports, it says something.

Realistically so far, they have failed in their mission to create value for their communities. They tend to focus on liberal arts students prefer while local communities need tech, trade and medical.

Program issues start with recruting and player renention …..

I don't want another offseason of adding 9 or 10 players. I would rather retain Derkack, Ogbole, and either JWill OR JMike (and Sommerville, Grant, and Dortch) just to have some continuity and guys that know the system, if they're willing to accept supporting roles. Note I said JWill "OR" JMike -- I don't think we need or want both.

Add the four freshmen for 2025 (Mark, Powers, Nwuli, and Ware), so that would be 10 guys.

But we ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, must add the following portal players:
  1. A starting PG -- not willing to bank on Lino Mark or JWill as my starting PG next year.
  2. A starting 2G
  3. A starting-caliber WF -- a 6-5 to 6-7 guard/wing who can do everything
  4. A rugged PF/C who can rebound and play defense and get putbacks.
The lineup next year should look like this:

1 - PORTAL#1, Mark (JWill OR JMike)
2 - PORTAL#2, Derkack, Powers
3 - PORTAL#3, Nwuli
4 - Grant (30 minutes), PORTAL#4, Dortch
5 - Sommerville, PORTAL#4, Ware, Ogbole
