So no, this dumpster fire isn’t due to NIL shortcomings. It was due to changing the philosophy away from defense and ridding the roster of those kinds of players (keeping only Davis unfortunately as a favor to Ace) and adding 4 stiffs who are too slow and can only hit wide open jumpers which the offense doesn’t create for them anyway since Ace and Dylan are only looking to compile gaudy ppg for the draft.

Don't see it, other than they aren't blazing quick. Grant was probably behind Dylan as a freshman, didn't shoot three's yet, more a slasher. Loved Grant, might be on my all time fav list with Pippen.

We're not winning any game on the remaining schedule where Dylan and Ace aren't both 100%. So I think we're hosed for this one. That said, I don't like Northwestern's chances to make the NCAAs, even with a win here. The bottom 6-7 teams of our conference are going to be more conspicuous by the end of the year, and I think Northwestern will be among us. Whether RU is in the 12-15 range or the 16-18 range will seemingly depend on Dylan's health.

With Dylan and the continued growth of the other young guys, I really believe we could have had a nice run here. But I think Dylan's inability to perform at his best derails the whole thing. And no Ogbole certainly doesn't help.

NW is 10-1 at home, and the only loss was to #7 MSU. Say what you will about their arena, but they have made it a really good home court advantage over the last few years, with several upsets of ranked teams. 13-2 last year.

South Carolina at 90. The next worse SEC team is at 67. That's a lot of teams in the top 67.
