This season is the epitome of all things Rutgers. We finally get a unreal recruiting class (of freshman), when it matters the least. The extra covid year + NIL pay for play has really made freshman recruiting not as important as it used to be as it pertains to winning and making it far in the tourney. Both Ace and Dylan are no doubt talented, but that doesn't mean they don't make freshman mistakes. Look no further than the Kentucky Calipari teams that were even more talented with consecutive top 5/10 recruiting classes with one and done's and 1st weekend exits from the tourney.

I don't think Pike is a horrible coach, but he isn't elite either. He needs to make adjustments in how he recruits in this new NIL era and all the uncertainty around it to really get Rutgers over the hump. Can he do it? We'll see as we're not getting rid of him with the years left on his contract.

Don't get that stall. This ref is fvcked up, there's no consistency it's all haphazard.

Harer needs to develop a neutral game or he's never going to go very far.

Absolutely pathetic officiating. Congrats to this scrub on making himself the star of the show

I wasn’t with your earlier this season but I’m with you now. The Iowa game was a clown show. I feel like I care more than some of the players.

Underrated part of Clark’s game this year is his gas tank. Feel like his stamina is way better and having enough energy to give up 8 points in the first period and still have enough to score 10+ the rest of the way is pretty impressive.

Eh I guess that would work but I think only two round-robin games is too few, and I hate having wild card teams in tournaments. Combining wild card with only two round robin games would mean that the wild card team is definitely decided by standings tiebreakers. With 9 viable countries, I think it would be better to just bring in Latvia/Norway/Denmark and make it two groups of five.
