NIL, what's the best course of action to remedy this?

I’ve talked to D1 coaches - it’s going to be a total mess and many colleges don’t know how they will fund it or which programs get the axe. As it is, the transfer portal is overflowing in sports like women’s soccer because schools have been telling girls to take a hike in order to reduce the size of their rosters in preparation for the settlement.
The new TV contract for the B1G schools is going to substantially increase what each gets, right? Some of that money can go to compensating athletes. The cries of gloom and doom might be overdone. But I wouldn't be surprised to see rosters cut in the non-revenue sports.

Wild drive, penalty, Drive, 4th on green, 2putts
It's a lot more windy today then all week. So nobody is going to shoot 11 under, 62 today, there were 3 guys yesterday. The positive is the overhead shots of the surfers riding big waves in the 20+ feet range. Never been to Hawaii. It used to be on my bucket list. Other interests these days. But without a doubt maybe the most beautiful state in the United States!

Good info you've provided. Thanks for sharing it.

What does a policy like the comprehensive one you're describing cost per month/year?

Think a little comparative math would be interesting.
For our 2 y/o German Shepherd, it is around $260 per year and our 6 y/o boxer, maybe just over 300.
But there are so many options- various deductibles, what % covered, max lifetimes etc.
I want to say our is unlimited lifetime, 70% and $250 deductible- plus, multi dog

THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-WISCONSIN PREDICTION THREAD

Wisconsin has had two extraordinary outlier scoring totals this year, scoring over 100 points in each.

Against Arizona they scored 41 points from the foul line and against Iowa they scored 63 from the arc.

Wisky improved their 3-point shooting from 32% to 35% on the strength of that Iowa game, on 21-31 from deep.

So, assuming the are no outrageous amounts of made 3-pointers or foul shots, I’ll say…

Rutgers wins 84-82.

The impact on future star recruiting

This may be a stupid take but, Harper and Bailey are most likely going to make a ton of money in the NBA. Would they have been able to direct some of their NIL money to other players so they could have had a better supporting cast? I know an 18yo probably isn't thinking of doing that, but would have been a smart move.
Wouldn't it have been a smart move for alums to fund NIL to acquire better players? That would have been a smart move too.
