It’s a great place to see a game. Citi Field is awesome too.The greatest thing about the Phillies year in and year out of late is the fans. 2nd in Attendance last year behind the Dodgers! Huge home game advantage.
They were ahead of 4th place Yankees but not by much.
They were way ahead of the 17th place Mets by over 1 million.
The crowd at Citizen Bank are unreal.
You should coordinate the trip with Smoothdog 🤣They could have won the AL East and AL Championship... oh wait.... 🤣
Serious question. Is anyone going down to Spring Training this year? I've made two attempts to get to Steinbrenner Field but both got rained out. The plus is I've made two visits to Cigar City Brewery which is walking distance from the ballpark. Great brewery, everyone there is awesome and I got to be a guest bartender on my first trip.
I'm looking at a crazy trip I might pull the trigger on. Two games. Two stadiums 30 hours in Tampa. One night. Obviously a stop (or two) again at Cigar City!
Oh, BTW Joey Gallo is still trying to cash a check. Signed with the White Sox minor league team. Has never made a big contract, total just under $40mill total career. Sounds low but he shouldn't be willing to get paid peanuts playing for the worst team in baseball.
WrongIt IS a bad loss. Because the committee looks at NET, and we're a Q3 loss for them right now. Q3 losses to teams not close to the bubble are bad losses on the resume.
Ace and Dylan were both unique circumstances. Otherwise they are not here. Outside of them, recruiting has not been very good.
You mean the brilliant ‘win the OT toss and want the ball first” game proving our coach is astoundingly incompetent? Fast forward to last year and his ‘ice the kicker on a 58 yarder into a 30+ mph wind’ masterpiece. Compared to him, Flood is the Bobby Fischer of football. Schiano could wear size 40 shoes, a multi-colored wig and a red rubber nose and most people still wouldn’t recognize he’s a clown. The voice of the original Leonard leap against Illinois.
Genuinely curious and pose this to all that view others as being too negative, beating up on the hoops program or Pike too much, etc.., what are the positives that you see with the current state of Rutgers basketball? The rest of us must just be glass half empty kind of guys, what makes your glass half full when it comes to the current trajectory of Rutgers basketball? Would love to know others thoughts as I just don’t see it.
