Everyone is complaining about the offense, but ….

So many of our fans think we need to prioritize keeping him. The problem is, if we don’t prioritize bringing in a rim protector we will be far worse next season. With or without Lathan. And Lathan apparently didn’t even want to come this year if we brought in another BIG so….

If a rim protector is brought in - its likely not to be a bench player.
What's the point then?
You want them on the court and not the bench.

If you can't play both then not sure the future role Lathan will have.
Will he satisfied going back to a bench role?
Even pre-injury it was 1a and 1b with Ogbole.

This would likely be more #1 and #2.

Everyone is complaining about the offense, but ….

Just wondering, I've seen it repeated a few times. I don't remember what it was and it matters very little if it was 99 or 10%, it was a few years ago and means nothing to anyone not on this board.
It was actually 95% based on what Bac said at the time. 99 or 95 is splitting hairs, the whole bracketology community was dumbfounded by the snub.

OT: Stock and Investment Talk

It’s always been that way. If you just went with fundamentals, you would never buy anything,
One of the greatest investors (Warren Buffet) of all time says hello. He largely buys and sells based on fundamentals. I agree 100% that you can’t always just base purchases on fundamentals, but to say you wouldn’t buy anything is ridiculously absurd. There have been many great companies that I have purchased based on fundamentals that have made me a lot of money (and I still own them) while I have lost my shirt on several when I strayed from looking at fundamentals.

No. 11 Rutgers wrestling closed the regular season against Penn on Wednesday at Jersey Mike's Arena

A few thoughts: Dean had it in the bag. I get he had a stalling call on him, but he was at too aggressive with the lead and a cushion. Hopefully he learned from it. Dean and Shawver gassed after basically one period of easier type wrestling. Sick? Sucking weight? Joey and Clark. Good efforts and close but no cigar. Lack of takedowns hurt them. Harer losing by major was a surprise to me. He didnt look right. 3-13 at the break?? WTH?! I thought RU was cooked for the night but thankfully, the upper weights got the job done. White pulled one out. Turley was a beast during the match of the night. SCW workman like win. Sorry to hear about Poz, but it's very obvious he's not in a good place. I'm really happy for Casale. He go the win and was pumped! Love to see the fire and passion running off the mat. Slava, expected but closer than I thought it would be. Maybe because bonus points weren't needed. The refs and their stall calls, what the hell? Some deserved against RU but many very questionable while Penn didnt get enough. Was it Slava 90 degrees working the arm bar with Penn flat on his stomach and Slava got banged for stalling. That was the worst one. Congrats to the team on a very nice duel season. To the seniors, thanks for the hard work and dedication given to the program and your last night on a Rutgers mat in front of us. Now on to the B1Gs..

Freshman on the road......

I actually agree with a lot of what Hawk is saying. Freshmen will have ups and downs but overall they are mostly delivering compared to the upperclassmen mostly giving us nothing. Upperclassmen should be more consistent and reliable but they aren't

B1G is definitely a strong top to bottom conference. Washington would do better in the non top 3 conferences for sure

We did play with and could have easily beaten SJU Alabama TAMU this season so we have shown the ability to play with the best teams in country at times. We also have shown we can play like an absolutely terrible disaster of a program too unfortunately

Everyone is complaining about the offense, but ….

Yes it is a fact. Just because you didn’t bother to listen to all the angst after Rutgers was snubbed where it was cited repeatedly “ 99% of the Bracketologists on the Matrix had Rutgers in” . And if it was 98 or 97 %, what is your point. ?

Biggest thing people glosses over or didn't want to admit with the SJU scrimmage. RU played to win with HArper and Bailey stupidly playing a ton of minutes. Pitino evened out his minutes and I also believe they had an ijury
It was actually opposite. SJU played their starters all second half to comeback trying to win while Pike rotated everyone in

I understand WHAT you are saying I am just giving you some of my personal POV that your tone or comments have taken on a different style of late. The HOW. Your knowledge, insights, and feedback have always stood on their merits without having to say you know better, etc. because you are smarter or they (we) are dumb, clueless, etc. I have always read your stuff but now when I see comments like that I just stop. That is all. I'm not perfect by any stretch. Carry on sir. Good luck to us.
I read the boards as you do and there's more negative energy bordering on insanity in regards to RU sports talk, recruiting and i don't see any point in how that means some of our fans get free shots fired at our players, especially Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey. They have done nothing but try and show up on a roster without as much help as anticipated.

And the hoops comments around those fans justifies my response about fans (some, not all) not having enough cache to talk hoops. The board does need more awareness and less nonsense.
