Another issue is many people with any of the above problems dont think they have ANY problems. They dont want treatment and you cant force them to get treatment. If they dont want treatment and you try to get them treatment they look at you as an enemy and they can get violent.

This is very true. Mental health issues are an interconnected spectrum from MDD to SZ and all those other things in between (bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, agitation, etc.). There are many common links voa certain chemicals in the body like dopamine and serotonin.

There are some amazing treatments available, but they all work differently with different people.

Lol exactly and people keep saying "at least 2 more years" the roster will look like some of Stringer's last seasons.

He will need to completely blow up this roster again in 10 weeks and will literally be doing the same thing of adding shitty transfers in that he did this year and last year.

Our fanbase cannot see the forest through the trees.

I love Pike BTW, but this momentum shift he is done barring a miracle.

Ace is ready for the NBA on Day 1. Right now his best asset is a catch and shoot perimeter scorer who has a quick release. Fits right in with the NBA. On defense his length will help him close out on shooters (in theory)

Different era but he is like Glen Rice in my eyes.

Well yeah I will still use my tickets this year and go to the RAC but that lovin feelin for this program is gone gone gone. A complete horror show in 16 episodes. It was gone weeks ago but now we can officially bury this corpse of a season and please please can some of you holding out hope have some dignity and just LET IT GO already. This is a bad team. They are not well coached. They have two very talented players and little else. They do not do anything as a unit which constitutes a team. There is no DREAM BIG DREAMS from 89 coming nor a 91 turnaround leading to a conference championship. In fact they are getting progressively worse with each game and now have lost 8 of their last 12. Going bac 2 last season Coach Pikiells team has lost 15 of their last 24......RUTGERS HAS LOST 15 OF THEIR LAST 24 BASKETBALL GAMES....it hasnt been brought up here people havent been paying attention but the program is in FREEFALL.

Ive moved beyond Rutgers will miss the NCAA for the 3rd consecutive season and now focused on how Pikiell gutted the program by making a deal with the devil. 2 one and dones and for what....to sit 17th place in the Big 10. Its beyond comprehension. Complete and utter failure on all levels and now where the hell does the program go from here. Pike will be back next year unless he steps aside. However now even I have moved towards the idea that if next year isnt a success that will be it. I do not see a 2nd year after coming. I do not care what the contract says. Thius is real bad folks. 15 games left and yes this abyss can get lower. My strategy is to care less and less about this team which right now is my least favorite team since Jordans last so about a decade. There is little to like about this team because it is not a TEAM. It is some funky amalgamation of one and dones, should not be here, never was, and do not cares. Not what we were promised and not something I am interested in investing my emotions toward.

I do not have the answers but tonight was complete garbage for a 9th year coach to have his team put out that kind of feeble performance and taking a giant leap backwards to the Fred Hill error in terms of excitement. It makes me not want to care and that is where I am at right now. A season lost and unrecoverable and the cherry on the top is that any legit talent isnt coming back. The 2 guys that matter are gone and anyone left are simply not good enough to build around. Thats the conundrum...just what is next, what is the program building for and how can it even take a beath of life in the next 2 and half months

I agree that we need to accept the fact that this team is going no where. It is poorly constructed, doesn't play team defense and rebound and alarmingly seems to be getting worse as the season progresses since the team plays soft in a very physical tough league. I personally like Pike a lot. Terrific character guy and deserves credit for reviving our basketball program. But if there's one thing he can be criticized for, it is his recruiting misses and poor judge of talent. Just look at this year's team--yes he recruited Ace and Dylan but unfortunately the rest of the parts just don't fit. Last year's team was awful and totally lacking in talent. None of the transfers other than Cliff ( Gavin isn't even playing at Nebraska) went to a top program and the two players that did return , JWill and JMIke, have limited skillsets and should not start. That's it --of the last two teams only Cliff, Ace and Dylan are legit talents that could start for any top program. The other unfortunate thing is that today's college basketball is all-offense and Pike is an all-defense guy. To make matters worse, with the portal and constant roster turnover, it's hard to develop players and teach defense when you may have player for only one or two seasons. Has Pike's time at Rutgers reached a plateau ? Quite possibly.

The RAC is a top 10 home court advantage in college basketball when our team plays defense.

Stop being emotional.

Hard pass on spending 9 figures on a big arena so we can have tarps on the upper decks like Seton Hall.

Add bathrooms, put seats where 118 and the offices are and leave the rest alone for the most part. Thats all we need to do.

We all know Pike never ran an offense in 9 years but this is the worst we have ever seen. Every other team and not so good team (Seton Hall) has out coached Pike by running real motion offense and pick and roll. It is head scratching how bad we are at defending the pick and roll. This is basic basketball. You can see what continuity of teams look like at Wisconsin and Purdue but they are also well coached. Not us. Only Rutgers can blow a major opportunity with 2 stud freshmen. Would like be better if Dylan had not got sick but the issues were apparent in out of conference play against much lesser teams.
