My wife....who is Italian and worked in Hoboken for many years...agrees about Leo's.
I still prefer Patsy's in Fairview. It's not as good as it was pre-covid, but their sauce is from heaven.

Jason Day's column in today's WSJ had a great take on the Betts glove incident:

"Honestly, I can't figure out what's worse: A grown adult thinking ripping a baseball from an opposing player is acceptable (or safe) behavior, or the strange 12 hours in which these men were elevated as lovable New York outlaws who may have catalyzed a historic Yankee comeback. Give me a break. Bar them for life. Better yet, give them Jets season tickets"

Great people watching on Thursday night (goomar night). The amount of Brazilian professionals working that place used to amaze me.

Had my rehearsal dinner in the wine room downstairs. Still one of the best Veal chops anywhere. Chris took great care of us.

Whoever it was did a good job stress testing it.

Yea but I would never stand in line or wait for anything of that sort. But I give Olive Garden credit. 40 years and still have a following. Great food that built America story about Olive Garden. Used the red lobster model for fast “not supposed to be Italian” food

Had many a great night at Leo’s grandeview. Food is good but atmosphere is awesome.
