Tried that, and the St Johns game is playing over the Rutgers game for me.
to a team who was 12-16 last year at 261 net now picked 9th in cusa when we have 2 of the top 3 nba projected picks, yeah its a disaster
Somerville is nice offensively but he is such a HUGE negative in the +/- defensively and if you don’t see that on the tv then idkPike says he does not change the starting 5 until there is a loss. Therefore, here is my new stating 5: PG - Harper: SG - Hayes; SF -Bailey; PF - Martini; C - Somerville.
The arena was sold out today.BAC
and anyone with an opinion because I don’t know the answer. I agree with you vis a vis scheduling. This never seems to work in our favor. We open with sisters of the poor and then go on the road to empty arena and lose or game like this. Seems like it happens all the time. However I remember at bonaventure. Last year we opened in that hole and the team wasn’t ready either. How would you draw up the schedule because I’m not sure what would work.
Mike…offense right now is not the issue. We can’t rebound nor defend the interior. Flaws and hopefully not fatal ones. The offense will look much better when Acuff shakes off his rust and gets more minutes.
Completely agree and have been wondering why we have played Villanova zero times especially since Jay wright leftI see that today Nova and Maryland played in the Pru Center...to me that was the game RU should have been in playing Nova. A down Nova but a solid program nonetheless. That kind of game and test would be perfect going into Vegas. Neutral site game but in state against an upgrade in competition. Pike thought scheduling the Vegas tourney took care of our schedule but there is a real chance we beat ND and then lose the next 2 to tough opponents and our ooc schedule even with a win over SHU doesnt show one quality win. Also who says the SHU game has to be in December, why not schedule it in November
Right now we go to the wolves coming off a loss to a lesser mid major
He brings better odds for his brother coming. That is all. He’s not a BiG10 starting player. Either is Martini.Watching at the game was trying to figure out what value Dercack brings. Looks like a mid-major they're trying to make useful at the B1G level.
It was bad in the offseason but so many were in denial and just made excuses which led to the fictional legend of Emmanuel Ogbole once practices started again to double down on it was the right call.Looks bad “now”?
Please. Greg is not the only person on the planet who can coach Rutgers football. This argument that he is the only one is absurd. He has had enough time to prove what type of coach he is, and that is a mediocre coach who no one else wants as head coach. Of course, Rutgers does not have the $$$ to buy him out, so we are stuck with several more years of mediocre football. And at this point, with no AD and no President, he can coast with no accountability.Fire him and you will 15 more years of a Flood/Ash type and no one on the board will be following Rutgers football because 1-3 wins will be the norm.
Now? You may be right.I don’t think any team in the top half of the BIG would lose to this team
