Who forced anyone to get the shot? That didn’t happen. No what happened was certain fields and organizations required a shot in order to work/gain access to said places. There is a huge difference there and if it has to be explained.....
One is having a shot forced upon you when you don't necessarily need it because you are not infected/sick;
The other is to treat an active medical issue and with ANY treatment, there will be side effects.
You know, freedom of choice.
This is the best team Rutgers has had since 76.
We will compete for the Big 10 title.
The MS game being scheduled at the Garden could cost us.
Are those guys worth the money? You can’t deny someone their worth. Unless you live in Russia.sorry Geo its not about selling t shirts or a basketball camp
Coleman Hawkins is making $2 million at Kansas State to mail it in and underperform for a 7-7 Kansas State team that is going nowhere and will finish near the bottom of the Big 12 standings. Normally he would have made peanuts in the G League. Now marginal NBA players are duping college programs to pay them huge amounts
Great Osobor is making $2 million at Washington to average 9.8 points for a 10-6 team that is on everyones list to miss the Big 10 tournament
Jonnel Davis is making over $1 million at Arkansas to average under 10 ppg half of the previous year for a Arkansas team that will likely straddle the bubble under Calipari
Someone not Rutgers is paying Dylan/Ace $1.8/.1.6 million to play at 8-8 Rutgers and likely miss the Big 10 tournament
AJ Dybantsa will make $4 million to attend BYU next year
not basketball but https://www.wfla.com/news/florida/6...l-players-sue-coach-over-failed-nil-payments/
And we all just play pretend and say ooh this was happening before, now its just out in the open..haha yeah right
The fact that you think an average high school coach could do better and compared Pike to EJ, is enough for me. That’s absolute nonsense. We’ll never see things remotely similar.I think he has one more season and the program won’t be able to tolerate the enormous drop in interest that I expect. They will agree to a buyout. Your opinion is different than mine. He has had a few very good seasons here but the parameters have changed drastically, which now emphasize his weaknesses. Most high school coaches in the country could do what he has done the past year.
It took a while at first for people to to realize what an absolute failure of a coach Jordan was, but once everyone did, it picked up momentum quickly. Granted, Jordan never had success here as a coach, but he made up for that by being a hero as a player here and a former NBA coach.
What does that have to do with whether you pursue ‘experimental treatment’ in Europe as compared to Mexico?Another thing to worry about is the MASSIVE placebo effect in this space (including PTSD). If you truly believe a drug will make you feel better (based on 3rd party advice or theories), you very well may feel better due to your mind and not the drug itself. This is why rigorous clinical trials are critical for things like mental health or pain being another example. The placebo effect is powerful, but normally temporary.
Exactly. It's about forcing the defense to cover the whole floor and not let JMike or JWill sit in the corner and send extra guys at Dylan/Ace.
For the defense: JWill/JMike shooting from the perimeter is likely infinitely better than anything Ace/Dylan will do.
Martini and/or Hayes (Acuff too?) close that gap and make the defense pay just a little attention to the off-ball players.
Defense is going to be jumping for joy if JWill is making the first move/iso drive on offense.
Relegate Ace/Dylan to off-ball and standing around watching JWill dribble? Sign me up if I'm the defense.
Chol would’ve been better than martini and would have known the system. Wolf we could’ve used with the extra scholarship spot- again, he knew the system. Miller wasn’t far off from J Mike and if he stayed maybe he’d be a more experienced version. Jaden jones could’ve developed with four years but his camp clearly had no idea what they were doingDo you want Jalen Miller, Antonio Chol, Jaden Jones and Woolf back too?
Maybe? Somerville has already played more minutes in his RU career than Ogbole has.We are splitting hairs here. Reason to favor Somerville is because *maybe* he can improve over the season. Ogbole is stagnant.
...kind of? I certainly want Simpson, Mag, and Cliff backDo you want Jalen Miller, Antonio Chol, Jaden Jones and Woolf back too?
Don't be an asshole!! You know that bullshit is not real!!
I didn’t say it was an undesirable job. Finding a proven quality coach (like Pike has already proven) is not easy. Many blue bloods fail at hiring coaches all the time and quality coaches have bad years. Pike’s buy out and proven abilities give him at least 2 years to get Rutgers back on track. BTW - last nights loss was a complete coaching failure and probably the most disappointing loss of the season in my opinion. Im not blindly following Pike but he will get a chance to fix this.I think the notion that Rutgers is an undesirable job is outdated too, especially after revenue sharing. Elite home-court, advantage, $$ to spend, low expectations, I think a lot of coaches would jump at that
