Who is this genius?

I’m thinking the possibility of the trick working is almost zero…regardless of his decorations on the fridge.
looks like the cap has already been opened based on the little bit of foam at the neck. I am a VERY experienced Miller Bottle Beer drinker 😁 Ice cold Champagne of beer. Still $6.99 a 6 pack.
Put a few in the snow, shovel the walkway, pop a few down. Cannot be beat!

If you want to know a real manly way of opening one. You push the cap up against the underside of your forearm and twist it there letting the soft skin gather round the cap ridges. TIP: Doesn't hurt one bit. For added impressiveness you put a bottle in each hand and do the open left-open right move opening two bottle at once without using your hands other than to hold the bottles.

This Team Will Never Lose Again

I don't see the get Lathan more post touches thing I see many requesting. He's too desperate to score. He's actually not great in the post, better when facing the basket. I agree with the rest, but don't believe the OP title will occur!
Been saying this all year he is not a willing passer once he gets the ball in the post

Much better face up and sees the floor better

Maybe attribute that to him still learning how to be a post player but I can count on one hand how many times he kicks it back out

UCLA- Myles Johnson is "Our Guy"--Foul Assessed on Myles?

The three years he was here. All 3 years the highest plus minus despite not playing as many minutes as other starters.
That speaks more to the abilities of his back-ups than it does to his. The other starters on those teams had stronger back-ups, so the team's production didn't suffer as much when the starters were out.

Big Ten Tournament -Bottom 3 watch

As we all know, only 15 of 18 make the tournament this year. Safe to say Minnesota and Washington look to be the 2 bottom teams, and should finish 17 and 18.

That 16th and third team out is wide open.

Who’s everyone thinking? I’d think it will be one of the following. Most would’ve said USC to start the year, but they’ve looked damn good in last 2 and Musselman can coach.

Northwestern
Rutgers
USC
Indiana
Penn St
Nebraska
Ohio St
I think barring a mini-miracle it will be something like

16. Washington
17. Rutgers
18. Minnesota

We get Minnesota at home and unfortunately, Washington on the road, which might figure in. If we can beat Penn State on the road, I think we have a shot at the tournament, since we could trade places with them in the end. I believe NW might have some injury issues so maybe there’s an opportunity there also.

OT: Cold and Potentially Snowy Pattern Likely for Most of January

wash-rinse-repeat. It's winter and since when does 1-2" mean anything? At least it didn't for most of my life. Get to 4"+ and THEN MAYBE schools were closed.
Somebody start posting a "storm warning" thread when we're going to get hit with a big one... (not saying don't enjoy your weather talk here but this is a ton of squeeze for a little juice)

OT: NJ Devils 2024-2025 Thread

I was just going to say I can't remember the last time NJ has won a shootout. Luckily we'd avoided them so far this year.
It's unbelievable how bad they've been in shootouts for over a decade. Especially considering that they were 59-33 in shootouts in the from 2005-06 through 2011-12. The likes of Elias, Parise and Kovalchuk helped there, no doubt. Thankfully, the 3v3 OT has mitigated the number of shootouts we've been exposed to. But man, it's painful.

On the subject of 3v3 OT, this is the ONE area where I feel the Devils have regressed under Keefe a bit. The last few years, I always felt their firepower would take over at 3v3 and we'd come away with the 2nd point. This year, they just look disorganized and aren't nearly as assertive with the puck.

Player Ratings (or, decomposing our Kenpom rating)

Out of curiosity, this metric is showing what amount each player has contributed to our NET, which is implying that a higher number is better, yes? Given that our NET is in the very bottom of Major 4 conference schools, what does that mean? I'd assume if this analysis were done for the worst NET team, there would still be a player at the top of the list.... Would that mean that player was doing well, or not? Is this metric in any way useful to compare players between teams of significantly different net ranking?
I was going to say, all this means is that, thus far, Dylan may be the only guy who should play.
