Need to win 20 to make the tourney.
The most Rutgers thing ever would be turning this season around, going 8-4 and then playing Minnesota last game in a must win game and losing that game……I have seen that movie before. In all honesty, I might take that scenario as we would at least be watching meaningful basketball the rest of the way.
9-4 is not enough. Unless we win 2-3 in the B1G tourney.9-4 might well do it. But among the 4 losses, none can be quadrant 3. Another quad 3 loss might be a fatal blow. USC at home is quad 2 for the moment but could slip to quad 3.
The box score linked to this board is showing 17 OReb for RU and only 14 OReb for Nebraska.

They only shot 45% against us so we did see them missing a fair bit and their EFG% of 52.4 is a bit high but not egregious. However,
we forced very few turnovers (7)
we gave up a huge number of ORebs (19 on 34 missed shots)
To the extend that DREB is a separate thing from defense really it was the DREB that was so atrocious
Road opportunities are littered all over the schedule. Maryland, Northwestern, Washington are road games that if you want to steal into the win column, would help the metrics. Those 3 games mixed with a Nebraska road win, could help offset the Harper absence at Indiana and not close to 100% vs Wisconsin and Purdue.@ Mich, @Oregon and @ Purdue are the 3 we’d all say are most certain losses, but a win at any of those will really push the needle
