Player Ratings (or, decomposing our Kenpom rating)

Total adjusted NET in only the 6 games against power conference opponents:

Dylan Harper
90.0
Emmanuel Ogbole
8.9
Lathan Sommerville
7.5
Jordan Derkack
2.3
Tyson Acuff
0.5
Ace Bailey
0.5
Jeremiah Williams
-1.9
PJ Hayes
-6.5
Dylan Grant
-7.0
Zach Martini
-8.1
Jamichael Davis
-33.2

Thanks. Interesting data. Confirms my thinking on PJ. Jeremiah’s data is heavily skewed by the OSU game. I’m not saying it should be eliminated but having a bad game like that as one if only six your factoring is going to skew the output. Point being - he was solid in 5 of 6 games against major conference teams.

Probably the best sample of the population to use would be to only remove the games where we dominated the opponent. Princeton, Kennesaw, etc. data should count. Wagner should not.

OT: New York Mets 2024-2025 Off Season Thread

Nobody wants Fat Pete. Looks like he will get a 1-year prove it contract unless the Mets feel bad for him. Many of Boras' clients last year had to do this.
what is your purpose of posting here? And you sound brilliant that no one wants a 35-50 HR 100+ rbi guy on their team. It is only about terms...Boras is obviously holding out for more as he most likely told Pete not to sign the deal offered last year. And this is where Boras is starting to not age well for his clients. Last year, he had a number of guys have to sign for less then what they had turned down previously.

Regardless, what is your purpose?

Player participation for The Rate Bowl?

Regardless of whether or not KM plays, just having him down there as an extra coach/big brother figure for the younger RBs is a great thing and says a lot about him and the culture of the program. Glad that it seems like Powell (who didn't play last year due to injury) and Miller (his only bowl opportunity) will be playing at least a little bit.

OT: COLD: How low did you go this morning

Definitely this. Freehold Twp's new Round 4 obligation is 568 additional affordable units.
Holmdel did the low income housing they owed the state for new housing right on the Holmdel/Hazlet border so as to not "ruin" upper crust sections of Holmdel residents "quality of life". Believe me, that racetrack is earmarked for business buildings and low income high density housing.

If Pikiell gets fired, Schiano should go with him

You mean like the Ohio St defense, that Greg was in charge of? He got fish fried, and ran out of town. They were stacked, and he was still cooked up. That's why he crawled back to Rutgers.. No onw else wanted him. Pike phone would ring off the hook - if him and Rutgers parted ways
who would be calling him? bucknell and fairfield?
