Oh you forget to mention someone is paying $4 million combined for 2 top 5 nba picks to play here
He’s defending good but all the action is WebsterClark looking good
Clark looking goodI don’t think 149 is heavy lean. Favored yeah but not heavy. 165 I agree.

Yes but Ace has been here for 2/3rds of a season. If he stayed here 4 years I have no doubt he would play good Steve Pikiell defense. He doesn't fully get all of it yet.Shooting 15 foot jump shots on a poor rebounding team? A blind man in the dark would see that as a bad route. Does Ace practice ball denial? Weakside help ? Does one of the best athletes get back first on D? Does he block passing lanes with his wingspan? Does he box out/ seal in? There are little things in the college game that aren't in the NBA game. Pike knows these things and has coached them for decades.
Coulda been useful to have Barbosa this matchNo..149 and 165 heavy leans Illinois

Ace takes a lot of midrange shots because Pikiell doesn't realize he shouldn't be doing that.
No..149 and 165 heavy leans IllinoisIs pretty much every bout the rest of the way a toss up or close to it?
It’s beyond ridiculous that a school 10 years into being in the Big Ten is publicly having conversations with these insane timelinesThat timeline is unacceptable

They were bad. But as you noted with consideration. So sure discount that but it doesn't change the trend.I disagree that the first three years were bad. You need to evaluate in context. Taking over the #279 team and being #135 the first year and #78 the third year with a solid base to grow on is a success. Those years directly lead to the three good years that followed.
