Really? there offense numbers year over year will be less then 5% change and that’s with 2 guys on the floor being doubled consistently leaving them wide open. They are taking open shots with no one paying any attention to them so it makes sense with the slight uptick in their offensive numbers.
Watch that come to a crashing halt next year when Ace and Dylan are gone and teams actually try and defend them as opposed to leaving them wide open like this year.

You are all over the place. By the logic where you just compare the team ratings than these players must have gotten way better at offense and way worse at defense. I don't agree with this logic on either side.

Obviously the team this year is way worse on defense than last year. Why you would attribute this to the 20% of minutes coming from players that were on both teams rather than the 80% of minutes coming from different players is beyond me.

I love Poz. I really enjoyed watching him. He pushed some great wrestlers during his career. However, his mind not being right, if true, would partly be a coaching issue. As much as Shawyer's being right last year was a tip of the hat to the staff.

I dont see Poz retiring as a sign the coaching staff didn't develop him as he was extremely competitive for 3 seasons. I do think mental preparation is part of coaching though, especially at the college level. I'm sure if this was an issue, they identufied and tried to address it. Sometimes wrestlers just burn out/hew and even the best motivators cant make the sport seem appealing at that point. It's crazy hard on the mind and body!

In the case of the Vegas money no. A private entity can distribute money as they see fit. They don't owe the public anything. If I donating a lot of NIL money, I would certainly expect to know where the money went.

No this is the most disastrous RU hoops season. Pike the defense coach just posted the worst RU defensive effort in 25 plus years.
He is struggling to make the big ten tournament. He has 2 generational talents and the whole team has quit on him.

Add next years class and hope 6 of those 8 return for the year after and add 3-4 frosh

Agreed, plus it also hurt to lose Cliff and Mag to the portal this year, as both of those guys play better defense (especially Cliff) than every player on our current team. I'm guessing the experiment with one-and-dones is over for Pike, as he needs to return to his defensive roots, bringing in players who are long, athletic and willing to sacrifice for the team to play D. To keep his job he needs to return to being competitive with an occasional NCAA team (he did have 3 in a row, which some seem to have forgotten, and got screwed out of a 4th 2 years ago). As our best coach in the last 40 years, I'm willing to give him another couple of years, even though this year has been an embarrassment for the most part.
