OT: Horrible terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Years.

Look, I get it and I understand the rush to label this. But think about what law enforcement has to do before saying the “T” word. Assess the initial damage, respond to emergency needs of the dead/wounded, collaborate with local authorities, determine whether other accomplices may or may not still be at large. And a million other things I probably can’t even think of.

I’m fine with immediately saying a maniacal ahole committed a crime. But given our history since 9/11, I’m not saying “terrorism” until I’m damn sure it does NOTHING to make the situation worse.
How exactly would telling the truth about the known evidence cause more damage?

They have gotten used to lying to the American people in recent years and can't help themselves anymore.
Anyone who believes anything coming from a government agency is truly ignorant. We've been lied to much more than people know or would ever imagine. This fbi response proves how comfortable they are at lying. There is zero accountability so why not?

They're not though. Terrorism means something specific.
As of now, authorities reporting they are seeking three others who were planting IEDs throughout the area. Certainly sounds like a coordinated and planned attack. I think it’s safe to say it’s terrorism and those carrying this out are terrorists
