Pike expected him to get better between Thursday and Monday. Dylan wanted to play to help the team . It was clear to anyone in the gym he had absolutely no energy. Pike had him as a decoy in the three point corner almost the entire 15 minutes he did play but it was clear , he had no energy , no burst , no hops , could not beat down on defense. Extremely unfortunate because with ACE having an unusual off night a healthy Dylan would have been enough to win not just last night but against Indiana as well.
This strain of flu knocks the crap out of you and zaps your energy. We get very very unlucky as it appears Dylan and ACE are ready to tear into the league schedule.
We need Dylan back healthy , controlling things at the point , not in the corner as a decoy , and that will make things easier for ACE. Now with Acuff , Grant and Somerville let’s get some consistency and with our big dogs and anything we get from JMike , Jeremiah and Jordan is gravy because I have given up hope waiting for their improvement and just pray they limit their negative plays on the court.
