Under $90 now. Very attractive. If you haven't been building a bigger position in Palantir you're missing the boat.
If you are not using the money anytime soon, some of it should be in a broad index fund. Maybe VTI or something with lower volatility (VIG is also a good option).Same. I have a number of 5%+ CD's and also sitting with a chunk of cash in my IRA. I keep thinking that I will buy an index fund with it at some point if the market takes a big enough hit. I am 67 and plan to wait until the last possible moment to start my RMD.
I do have a non-retirement index fund that I have been DCA for a few years and also a 529 fund so not completely out of stocks. About 35 to 40% stocks 60+% CD's
yup they will never learn their lesson and the same hyperbole....WOW HOLY BATMAN AND ROBIN...51 METEOROLOGISTS HAVE SIGNED A LETTER SAYING THEY HAVE SEEN SUCH A PATTERN COMING UP FAVORABLE FOR SNOWSTORMS ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHERWinter is over! Second largest underachiever since Nov/Dec. can’t wait to read in Oct how 25-26 will be the snowiest winter
plus Dylan and Ace not being as good of a college basketball players as people think. They are wonderful offensive players, but defense is 50% of the game.I could quibble here or there with this post, but GENERALLY I think you’re correct in terms of the different versions of this team that we have seen over the course of the year.
Boiling it down — Pike probably made a mistake in giving Derkack, Hayes, and Martini so many minutes in November and December, and in not playing at least Grant more minutes. Combine that with Ace getting his sea legs in college ball, and Pike trying to incorporate 7 new players (9 minus Grant and Dortch, who he was keeping on the bench), and you have a mess in the first 10 games.
Just when it looked like things were SOMEWHAT coming together (against Columbia), the very next game Dylan goes down with the flu and can’t play at Indiana. That illness derailed whatever progress had been made up to that point.
I won’t summarize what ensued thereafter, but the bottom line is that a combination of factors has led to 14-14, and “injuries/illnesses to Ace and Dylan” stand equal with “poorly constructed supporting cast” and “questionable coaching decisions” as the main culprits.
are you giving us the healthy version that is taking the ball to the basket when he has a chance. Not the one when healthy went to 2-3 games where he had low energy?Healthy Dylan means at least 16-12, 9-8 at this point in my view. Still a disappointment relative to what we were all hoping for this year but still on bubble
Oh I totally agree with suspension. But his dad was the problem here.Wrong. He's 18, isn't he? That's the age at which people are held legally responsible for their actions. He should have had the sense to not engage. I don't like hearing that he can't wrestle, but the decision to disqualify recognizes the individual's responsibility for his own actions. Harsh lesson.
If his dad could sit and watch the match like everyone else in there, like I’ve done for 17 years watching my 4 boys wrestle. His son wouldn’t have charged the stands and got arrested. For 20+ years we see stupid parents who can’t just watch the sport attack kids, refs, coaches and fans. It’s on his dad’s poor decision. Legally, yes Hr has got legal problems. But this is his dad’s fault. Everyone that knows him is telling him the same. I’m sure.Wrong. He's 18, isn't he? That's the age at which people are held legally responsible for their actions. He should have had the sense to not engage. I don't like hearing that he can't wrestle, but the decision to disqualify recognizes the individual's responsibility for his own actions. Harsh lesson.
I don’t mean it as a knock on Flagg’s defense he’s very good. But Kirilenko was averaging over 3 blocks and close to 2 steals for multiple seasons. You may underestimate Flagg's defense. He may not end up a defensive player of the year, but he'll have top ten finishes.

No kid/young adult is not going into a melee to back up his dad.
Turley said much the same before or early in the season. There's nothing wrong with having goals, and even better yet, when they have the drive to accomplish them. However, they look silly when they just say it and don't follow up with the effort and commitment required. I don't know if any of Peterson, Shawver, or Turley are capable of winning a NC, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen if they have periods of slacking off. We all know the level of seriousness and commitment required to win at that level, and relatively few dedicate themselves to that degree. I've watched Bassett's daily routine with amazement and wondered how many could keep up that level of commitment.I realized so many of our guys say this and it literally never happens.. and all the killers rarely talk bout winning… Angelo, Barr, Mesenbrink, in all their interviews they just talk bout is getting better and improving and w.e happens happens.
