With Flagg thinking about another year at Duke...

This times 100.

Also, in the ridiculously unlikely event Flagg stays, that is even more reason for Bailey and Harper to leave: It almost guarantees Bailey goes #1 overall, and increases the chance Harper goes #2 overall ... Thye be idiots to pass that up.

Plus there is another VERY high level, potential #1 pick for NEXT season's draft, maybe better than either Flagg or Bailey in terms of upside. Blanking on his name, but he will play in college next season.
If you talking about Dybansa, I agree, think he might be the best of all of them.

OT: Stock and Investment Talk

I'm overly weighted to cash which means that you have beaten the pants off of me the last several years. My only defense is that I'm older than you and have seen more bad markets. Preservation of capital becomes more important as my days dwindle.
Same. I have a number of 5%+ CD's and also sitting with a chunk of cash in my IRA. I keep thinking that I will buy an index fund with it at some point if the market takes a big enough hit. I am 67 and plan to wait until the last possible moment to start my RMD.

I do have a non-retirement index fund that I have been DCA for a few years and also a 529 fund so not completely out of stocks. About 35 to 40% stocks 60+% CD's

Flagg won't be staying, stop the fantasy.

Knox father arrested at state tourney match

Yea the state has videos of him throwing punches in the brawl…wonder if Cornell has is going to have an issue with this , wrestling is low priority and he’s getting suspended from school and wrestling for this incident plus this is national news , sports illustrated has an article about it . Could they pull his scholarship?
How Cornell handles this will certainly be interesting. If charges are eventually brought against Jr., maybe that changes how Cornell views this situation. Uncontrollable dad, plus son who flies of the handle, plus possible simple assault charges? Cornell has some thinking to do. If it were a depth wrestler, bye bye. #1 ranked wrestler will have some leeway but how much?

Rutgers wrestling: Four thoughts ahead of Big Ten Championships, NCAA Championships

""I want that national title before I’m done, and I promise I’m gonna get it."" Another obligatory statement? I'd like to think he could do it, but it's a high hill to climb.
I realized so many of our guys say this and it literally never happens.. and all the killers rarely talk bout winning… Angelo, Barr, Mesenbrink, in all their interviews they just talk bout is getting better and improving and w.e happens happens.

Low priority? They have a whole Ag school which accepts wrestlers knowing they have no interest in pursuing a career in Agriculture or Livestock. They know they're there for one purpose, wrestling. Remember not everyone "really" gets into Cornell rather they slide in through the backdoor.
I get what you are saying but at the end of the day the people who make the big decisions like this one don’t care about sports in general nevermind wrestling , they care about image and the prestige of being an Ivy League school …honestly I hope it doesn’t mess up future plans for him but since the day 1 I’ve openly hoped and campaigned for him to go to Rutgers so who knows if Cornell doesn’t work out maybe you guys can swoop in and get your next ashnault
