Haha. I’m having a nice nyc steak Saturday evening and I have very low expectations so my mood will change dramatically over 3 hours. Have a good one.We don’t have the toughness or experience or the skill to win this. MSU by 15 and I’m in a bad mood Saturday evening
Nailed it. For us it's the Super Bowl. For them, it's Tuesday.“It’s going to be Fourth of July and Christmas for them,” Spartans coach Tom Izzo told reporters Wednesday, “but it’s going to be kind of exciting for us.”
this quote says it all doesnt it
I believe one of the fairly reputable media guys had posted a number. I’m not claiming it to be accurate or inaccurate. I’m only saying that how Dean performed at his new destination has nothing to do with whether that “rumor” was true or not.You took a rumor (which you can't possibly believe is accurate) and you're asking me to verify a BS number??
Is there a place where fans can verify ANY numbers?? The answer is NO.....
And with the level of productivity, there are former posters here who can put any number out there, because it just raises the level of discussions about NIL and players getting way more money in the rumor mill than reality. 6 figures for Dean Reiber "could be true", if you want to consider that for 2 seasons, but zero chance it's for 1 year.
I meant “Failing” in the sense that at 64 being a mid-major they are far removed from the at large picture because of their NET. Seems to me their sorting data (sorting their wins and losses - not where they map for other teams) presents a blind resume picture of a team that should at least be on the bubble. Likely the good end of selection was today. In the RPI system, I think they would be included in most field projections as of right now. Because of their NET - not even in Lunardi’s next 4 out.
Will try to post more later, just on a quick break from work. Drake is #64 in NET, making them a Q1 away game and a Q2 home game for opponents. Not sure how that's failing them.... beating them is hard, which is why it would count as a good Q1/Q2 win.
Thanks for the information! The moderators did put something to that effect on the other board today as well. Any other information that you would want to share, and are allowed to share, would really be appreciated.I don't come here often, and barely post anywhere. Since no one has really posted info, figured I'd help out. I do have a friend around the baseball team and Rossi and Herbstman are not on the team. Don't know the particulars. Zack K is out for the season.
The fanbase was thrilled we made the tournament because it was 35 years obviously. Fans aren’t happy being mediocre. The lack of success isn’t because the fans are accepting of being mediocre. What a bunch of nonsense.Actually it’s the losing and lack of success in any premier sport. RU fans are happy we make it to mediocre bowls year in and year out. The entire fan base was thrilled just to MAKE the NCAA tournament. RESULTS are still GARBAGE. And that is why we are Small time and will always be small time. Football and basketball we are still nobodies, and across the nation other than RU fan base, literally nobody cares we are playing @ MSG.

As of Wednesday more than 14,000 tickets had been sold, with the vast majority gobbled up by the Scarlet Knights' faithful. Attendance is likely to be north of 16,000 – one of the largest gatherings of Rutgers hoops fans ever.
March 1967: In the NIT semifinals, a sold-out Madison Square Garden doubleheader crowd of 18,499 watched Rutgers fall to Southern Illinois (led by Walt Frazier) and Marquette beat Marshall. Although most of the fans probably were there for Rutgers, it’s impossible to know how many.
Harper did not practice Wednesday after suffering a sprained ankle during Monday’s loss at Penn State. He’s expected to play Saturday barring a setback, although he’ll likely be limited in practice all week.
“Dylan muscled his way through the game, but he obviously wasn’t himself,” Pikiell said.
Center Manny Ogbole, who hurt his knee at Penn State, also did not practice Wednesday and is being evaluated day-to-day.
