What was his p4p class ranking come out of hs… or did he beat any nationally ranked guys in hs…

We often forget only the best of the best wrestle in d1 wrestling.. and someone w a stellar hs career could just be considered avg-above avg in college… so imo a class ranking is a more accurate view of a prospect, at the time being of being recruited.

First off that 77 is skewed because of the losses early in the season. We made the tournament that year
From 2020 to halfway through 2023 we went 50-32.
From the MSU game at MSG til now we are 30-39.
Do you see it now? Pretty easy to comprehend the downward spiral since then.
But please tell me how Pike is not trending down while we might miss the B1G tournament with a team that has two top 5 picks.
I’m not even arguing with you now. I’m genuinely trying to show you why people are upset with Pike. It’s not difficult to understand. If Greg failed in year 9 with two top 5 picks the fanbase would be very upset with him too. It’s really not difficult.

Because he got a take down late in a match where he got outwrestled. Peterson should win that match but a couple end of period, situational mishaps cost him. That’s wrestling.

I did overlook that one but if you compare HS accolades they are not close. All I am saying is Composto has improved tremendously to point he AA and now owns Olivieri.
