No doubt and agree but now shifting the excuse from NIL and money to now injuries which is a separate conversation.

Even without Dylan the monies paid to Ace, Lathan, Martini, and the rest of the transfers still has Pike in the top ten $ on the floor. Ace was always the most talented player on the floor.

Money is not the problem this year.

Went to a local bar where they were filming the movie The Wrestler. Mickey Rourke sat near me, Marissa Tomei walked past me and said hello.

Saw Tom Cruise during the filming of War of the Worlds in Newark, off Ferry Street. He came down the side street and took pictures and shook hands. Nice guy.

George Foreman punched me in the arm in Las Vegas. Talked with me for about 5-10 minutes before I told him I have to go. One of the nicest famous people I ever met.

Talked to Marvin Hagler in Vegas, he drove past us in a parking lot. I said hey that was Marvin Hagler. He stopped the car, pulled back to where we were and chatted with us.

Met Thomas Hearns a couple times. Chatted with him. Nice guy

Met Julius Erving and Mark Ivaroni(sp?). They stopped let us take pictures and talked to us. Moses Malone was not as gracious.

Saw a drunk Don Rickles in Vegas walking through the casino late at night. He was hilarious. His handlers had to move him along.

Saw a young Holly Robinson in a boutique in NYC. Pretty girl.

Met and chatted with Lea Salonga in NYC. Stunningly beautiful in person, flawless.

Played basketball against Roy Hinson in HS. Got an and one on him.

Those were just some off the top of my head.

12 of 15 face offs and 9 saves by the goalie should lead to a dismantling if there was a competent offensive strategy.

When the reality is Pike has had the advantage in every game he coached this year as it relates to $ on the floor.

Every other school is counting on outside entities moving forward and Pike has burned bridges with 2 of them with the lack of success an inability to market the players during tournament season.

i get RU fans are leery of being complimentary of our own players and every other coach walks on water, but there's a reason why NBA scouts and coaches ultimately laugh at CBB in a lot of ways. Promoting only kids who happen to have played on winning programs are why the majority of the "busts", at the NBA level come out of Duke.....carry on fellow fans.....

Hawk I hear you and agree with your broader point.

Queen is having a great season for a freshman and is impacting winning. By NO means do I believe he is a better player now or in the future then Ace or Dylan but as a college award I’m ok with it.

If we had to give out a Big Ten PG player of year award for the year . Would you vote for Dylan or Braden Smith from Purdue?

Queen has proven he’s the best most consistent frosh. We DID Ace sit the second half off? Do we really know?? Well….He was gettin destroyed and outplayed by Queen… it’s obvious. I think he tried to save face, honestly. Disagree all you want but the numbers don’t lie.
