"Are More New Jersey Colleges Doomed to Collapse?"

That’s fine as it’s still another option for those who whether it be financial or otherwise now have something.

Well that one did work. I mean who would want to be confused with a prison, right?

For what it has become TCNJ did very well in that department.

And fyi, that was the original name of Princeton University.

I agree. I am just saying I don't think NJCU ever got many students outside of Hudson County.

But ironically now if Montclair or Kean buys them they're going to be screaming Jersey City from the rooftop.

While it's not in the most exclusive part of town, it's in a nice, safe, middle class neighborhood and the right school could do something cool with it while keeping up its historic mission. I thought SPU would be interested personally. They didn't seem to do much with their tourney appearance, and they are located much closer to the hipper part of town, and you could walk to the PATH from their campus on a nice day.

The sad thing here is that if it is found that the female pilot made a mistake, there will be multiple people including our President that will immediately blame DEI while ignoring information such as was this pilot qualified under standard requirements or did she have the bar lowered for her because she was a female AND will ignore the fact that white males also have caused military accidents.

Kind of sad where we are on this stuff nowadays. Look, if she was at fault and it comes out that she had the bar lowered for her to be a pilot, then sure pile on. But without that information, people should just STFU until the know vital information.
No the 'qualifications' questions won't be ignored. The ONLY question about DEI is whether less qualified folks-male/female/black/white/gay/straight/bi/whatever--are being pushed and promoted ahead of better qualified folks because of the DEI policy.

I'll disagree with before the harper injury...3-1 with a healthy Harper in the BIG...
rutgers lost to kennesaw and princeton with Harper...harper played first half of psu and didnt do much of anything..,, the nd, shu, psu at home games came down to the final shot, you just cannot pick and choose, every team has had injuries. This team was always going to play close games with a healthy harper..some they would win, some they would lose

There’s change and then there’s Lakewood change

The neighborhood I was born to and grew up in until early middle school was predominantly Italian

It now has a very eclectic mix, and I love going back there to see all the different aspects that it has evolved into

Change is inevitable, and often times it’s good, but what’s happening in Lakewood (and, by a consequence ,the surrounding communities ) is not normal

It's an interesting question.

Here in JC, we have different streets named in honor of different ethnic groups.

For example, Manila Ave and Christopher Columbus Drive.

However, my guess is...there's probably more people who grew up in the Midwest rather than Manila on that street now. Columbus...maybe the most at a single digit percentage and I doubt any Italian speakers.

And I am sure many of the local old timers would agree with those around Lakewood...they don't like the change even if their property quintupled in value, or more.

I would argue things are better here anyway, but I have heard people who grew up here say the opposite. They cannot afford to live here. The new restaurants and businesses are not tailored to them and out of budget. The newcomers look at them askew, or complain about things they have always done. Their children couldn't afford to come back after college (that one may be NJ wide).

I don't have the answer to that but I can say I don't like being regarded as an interloper...I've lived here more than anywhere else in my life now but I'll always be an outsider to some, and I am not someone whose dress or appearance would mark me as anything outside of the mainstream.

The beauty of NJ is that you can pick a place that looks Lakewood. Or Amish country. Or anything in between. The options are there. The price points are varied. You just have to take them.

And if people want to move from Lakewood area, they could probably have a urban and rural home in NJ just based on the sales price. Some of the prices there are absolutely wild.

Or, stay, and lobby along the lines I suggested.
Or just mow your lawn, plant a bush or some flowers.

It's okay to ask all the questions when you have ~70 people dead for something that shouldn't have happened, the accident itself.

And these types of questions were always asked, in disasters like this, it's just now with social media we can see the multitude are who are asking.

Not to mention, of the 16 years without a plane crash, 12 of them were under who we are told were "DEI" admins...but weirdly now when that is supposedly out the door it's causing crashes.

Buddy, it's happening all over the place... Again, do you really not understand how my community (I'm black) has been forced out of our homes time and time again by other "groups" coming in? Those with far more money than my community because for so long we were kept down and could not build generational wealth? Dude, we've been dealing with Carpet Baggers our whole life. My wife is from New Orleans, her whole family is. Her neighborhood was wiped out by Katrina, the neighborhood is completely different today, different demographics, different people, etc.

Things change. If you don't wanna be around change that is your right

Lancaster proper looks like Lakewood in some parts, the Amish areas around it do not.

* True, but sometimes when you go along, you get along...better.

I

Wow, I thought for sure BBAI was going to be a 100 price to rev's type of stock. Or maybe even a zero rev, but it's about 10x even after todays move.

Just dipped a toe in despite it going from up 38% to 44% in a couple minutes, as it's still very cheap for the space. Small position to start. Looking for a pull back to add more, but I could definitely see this thing continuing to rip.
Wow, what's the news on BBAI? Starting buying AI, but will wait on BBAI for it to calm down (hopefully!). SOUN is up again today.

Factual representations calling people out for exactly what they’re doing and what’s going is not prejudice, it’s the truth

We’ve said exactly what they’re doing and there’s not a stitch of debate that you can counter with

Personally, I’m not living around people like that that are looking out for themselves that a detriment of everybody else
