No one should’ve been surprised he couldn’t play. You have a full week of practice and warmups. Why was the outcome of how’d he look a surprise.

You practice like you play, if he wasn’t full go in practice (my assumption), sit him until he’s full go.
I'm sure they all had a good idea he was hurt but Dylan wanted to give it a go so they let him

You think the staff thought he was fine and this was a surprise to them? Lol wut

We don't do anything for the 3 point shooters and I didn't see PJ trying to work himself into a spot for a shot. We play so much ISO that it's tough to just move around the court on your own in an attempt to get open.

I don't have an issue with PJ's effort but no doubt that loose ball was a bad play. Brain freeze on his end.

Martini was chucking but almost everything had a hesitation. I'm not a fan of Derkack firing 3's but he doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger (it's like he thinks he is 45% from 3 on the season).
We don’t and have never run anything other than iso or iso/high pick and roll

Did you watch PJ when he was on the court ?

Surprised he got as many minutes as he did

When an opportunity to grab a loose ball came his way, he did as little as possible to secure it
He should not see the court again the rest of the season 11 minutes today and just a total zero literally and Grant has to play 30 minutes every game the rest of the game season

Bc he's tough and cares. The exact oppposite of what some of these fools are saying

Pike really should protect him from himself and sit him. I agree with you

There is a difference between being 80% where you can play through it and be effective. Still a positive impact on the team

Dylan was clearly too injured hobbling up the court. They rightfully finally pulled him and sat him

I am disappointed with this season, we all are, that we can agree on. But I don’t get the questioning Dylan’s toughness stuff, makes no sense to me. I might question how Pike and staff has managed and handled Dylan’s flu illness and his current injury, but not Dylan’s toughness….some people always have to try and move issues into weird territories, this is one of those cases.

Hate to say it, but…

I was at the Seton Hall game which was as close as it gets and it didn’t seem close to the enthusiasm of other Seton Hall games at the RAC. Perhaps because SHU was supposed to suck. This team is a little harder to get behind IMO.
Agree with you. Fans arrive each night in “show me” mode. Then the team’s play, specifically its energy and commitment to defense and rebounding, dictates the crowd’s vibe.

Do those same guys have 500-700 million on the line if they get hurt worse?

Business decisions
And yet he tried to play anyway which is the opposite of your point

2nd half he couldn't even run down the court

Watch the replay of how bad his ankle turned on the injury. Crazy tough to even try to play

People are beyond clueless. It's embarrassing and insulting to Harper
