Time to take them down already
It’s not a question. They will not guard him on the perimeter. He’s that bad a shooter.Certainly not 22% lol. If he's only shooting the wide-open ones I'd say at least 33-35%, otherwise teams won't guard him on the perimeter and it mucks up the whole spacing (esp. if he's playing alongside JWill and Ogbole)
It would be more fun with this rule.I get it, but I don't think it's necessary, and thus don't feel the need to add new rules.
3v3 is a ton of fun as is. Just let it roll.
Fooch is a broadcasting atrocity completely unfit for the job. Less eloquent than someone with no tongue or larynx and a mouthful of broken glass shards would be.I can’t comment on the radio game broadcasts because I never hear them being at the game, but with a fairly long drive from Manchester, I put myself through the punishment of listening to the pregame show. It is beyond horrible. First off, what grown man goes by the name of Fooch? The accent is bad enough, but he is just terrible anyway. If JPO was paired with another player or two and just talked about football, that would be a step in the right direction. NO ONE cares about what is going on at tailgates ! I don’t want to hear that the Jenkins switched brands of bbq sauce this week. Stop with the corny tailgate interviews and trivia where you can hear other people yelling out answers to the guy being asked the question. Ask the question over the air and the first person that comes to the booth gets a prize.Dom Savino at least sounds like he put some time and effort in.The location is terrible for the broadcast—get away from any bands, karaoke, etc. Every so often, the sound goes out or the commercial breaks are way off. It sounds like high school kids on their first football season preview show. It screams amateur night !
He needs to hit a home run for a forwardby pressing us with 5 players in our final third, UCLA was essentially signaling that there is not a player on our team which scares them. that was a tough one to watch.
Tiernan being out definitely hurt...but not sure it changes anything.
hats off to UCLA...every girl on that team is a soccer player. in contrast, we have 3-4 girls who seem to have high soccer IQ.
Mike needs to continue recruiting outside of the PDA sphere...too many of those girls made their hay being on teams which are waaaaay better than the comp, and are just good athletes (big and/or fast). we need more complete soccer players. Find more players like Tsokos and Baran please. And of course Bradley
I actually feel like he is making the pivot, so I am completely good with him continuing to chop away for a few more years. the future is bright. But to take the next step to be elite, we need more players at the UCLA / USC level.
he's going to need to hit 2 home runs with 2 impact CBs.
oh...one more thing...fitness, fitness, fitness. this needs to be a focus for this team in the offseason. too many of our women are simply not in great shape (not trying to be offensive...I genuinely mean this respectfully). and I am not just talking about top-end speed (that's an issue as well). But we're not fit in some very key positions...at this level, that is simply unacceptable.
hopefully this blowout doesnt impact our seeding.
That's on Greg. He seems to be so afraid that our returner will cough up the ball; he plays it insanely and head-scratching cautiously.Free kick was a line drive with no hang time
There wasn’t a player within 30 plus yards of returner
