I've been saying this with respects to Doug, forever. That man could coach and recruit but there was zero infrastructure. The true hero to RU football is BM, not Greg
Going off the rails yourself here a little KS. All I said was, name the people in this thread who wanted him off the air and expressed my indifference. Didn't label Rogen one thing or the other. Just think it's boring content. I was trying to have a discussion on topic in this thread about media sources- who trusts what and why, where the S-L is headed and where we are headed without quality municipal journalism, but that's impossible here.To each their own. Have watched quite a few of his episodes mostly dealing with doctors, exercise, longevity and health. He speaks pretty much in a stream of consciousness style and can tend to ramble, but he seems to just trying to figure thing out while thinking out loud. Some of it is interesting, and some of it is way too long.
Notice that nobody but bac answered the Rogan question. Funny thing, people call him right wing or conservative. But a lot of people get labeled as such if they don't completely subscribe to the progressive playbook.
Speaking of improving a team. Women''s teams can keep transgender men off their teams by a simple testosterone test. If one is a hormonal male. You don't get to play on a team of girls no matter what you appear to. Loook Like. Women's team for girls only. When your hormones say you are a man go play with the other boysThree million for players should get you an improved team
Three million for players should get you an improved teamIt says nothing incorrect as to Rutgers collapse, but I don’t see the Indiana angle at all. It’s not like we have the same recruiting area.
As a long time Rutgers and college football fan, Indiana’s success doesn’t bother me. In fact, I am enjoying watching teams with a history of failure like Indiana and Vanderbilt do well.
If what you are saying is accurate that no coaches more elite than Schiano will take this job (which I would disagree), then Rutgers football is as good as it gets. Schiano has been a Rutgers coach for 14-15 years. He is for the most part the same coach as he was when he first started. To expect that he will all of a sudden become elite with top level recruits is silly. We beat Washington and Virginia Tech. We beat Boston College and Syracuse and Miami. we were more competitive against Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. We have made it to the next level from where we were, prior to Schiano.
Catastrophic injuries foiled our grand plans for this year.
Plenty of coaches could not come to Rutgers and replicate this kind of recruiting. And they would not come due to inadequate infrastructure. Urban Meyer flat out implied he would not take the Rutgers job due to insufficient support.
Of course it matters who coaches, as we could revert back to 0-3 win seasons quite easily, something no one wants.
Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan, will continue to be above our level. But with our recruiting, we'll have an opportunity against everyone else.
Well you have to an employee of the FDNY but not necessarily a firefighter. We have IT people and members of FDNY EMS who are part of the team. That's pretty cool and interesting to see how things evolve out of necessity. So, is the IMT at the point where you recruit only the best of the best, or is it just folks who are drawn to this type of work? I don't want to say enjoy, because no one really enjoys or wants these things to happen, but they want to serve.
