Defensive oriented teams - Offense suffers

Why? Because it expends so much energy. Tired legs, alligator arms ( short shots) is all a by product.

UNLESS!…. You have a GO TO GUY, (or 2) who you KNOW can get his anyplace, anytime.

CONCLUSSION: PLAY MORE ZONE! It worked for us when we use it.

NEED MORE OFFENSE FOCUS, hopefully Brandin Knight will spearhead this effort. We ran GOOD STUFF against OSU, not so against SHU

McConnell - Hyatt post game

McConnell and Hyatt were having a pretty heated exchange almost the whole alma mater post game.

Players tried to cool them both off multiple times and Pikiell had to walk over and grab McConnell to keep him away.

No idea what it was about but not the type of exchange I was happy seeing right in front of the departing crowd. Need better from McConnell there if he’s our “leader”.

No. 17 Rutgers Wrestling set for Princeton Sunday

The longest-running series in program history gets another installment as No. 17 Rutgers wrestling (5-1, 0-0) faces Princeton (0-3, 0-0) on Sunday at Jadwin Gymnasium. The dual is set for a 2 p.m. ET start and will broadcast on both ESPN+ and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
