After only 12 games, earlier this week he was assigned to Oakland's High A affiliate, The Lansing Lugnuts.

So far in his short career he's batting .371 with only 5K's in 73 plate appearances.

Hope springs eternal on The Banks

Throw back a couple cold ones, take in the scene then head in for the entrance

Big things could be on the horizon... and for the first time in what seems like forever...we, as fans, finally have hope

The good- Kaliakmanis showed why he won the starting job. He made great decisions, hit his targets and zero turnovers. The running game looked good especially late in the game. Rutgers is in business.

The bad- The defense struggled a little bit early, they had some problems covering a scrambling QB. And they only got 1 sack late in the game.

The ugly- Coach Shiano's unsportsmanlike penalty. There may have been PI but he has to keep his head like Kyle did when those two defenders were yacking at him after the late hit.

Over all the team played fine and thanks to the next group of men Rutgers beat the spread.

I know the weekend games haven’t been played yet. However, as of right now, Monangai leads the nation in rushing and Djabome leads the nation in tackles. He had 14 tackles against Howard!

Loved the game, but i had to address this. Those were the worst pretzels 🥨 i have ever tasted. Why is it so difficult to bring in a pretzel vendor that offers a normal NY pretzel?

Overall will be a fun season to be apart of. Would it shock me if we pulled out a couple more and wound up 10-2? No. Equal it wouldn't shock me though if there were 2 more L's on that schedule and wind up 6-6. I think the floor is 6-6 and the ceiling is 10-2.

If you haven't been out to Lincoln, I highly recommend making that trip for an away game. Incredible atmosphere and unbelievably welcoming fans.

Saw my boy Nuts, met # 27 from lax’s parents (I should know this he was our best player, but no coffee yet on way to EWR = brain not fully working), had some Zeps, saw my guy Vinnie for an Italian rice ball (Little Sicilian food truck - knew the family growing up, great people), met up w RCBeta79 in Scarlet, finagled my wife’s purse past the authorities and saw a nice win with my family on a beautiful evening

What more could you ask for as a Rutgers football fan !!

Team looked better today but Lehigh is a very bad low major opponent. Nice to see the ladies win one.
