True Height for Ndongo or anyone??

I made a separate thread as its not just for Baye, but i feel like the discrepancies of the different sites should not have to include height in basketball. Yes, kids grow so it changes but theres a big difference between 6-8 and 6-10. I wish there was consistency. Im pretty sure coaches have their own measurements but for the fans, it would be nice to know the real heights

Did anyone notice....Paul is going to make a great coach, updated with video

Just watched the ending of the game for the 10th time. If you didn't notice , right after Caleb got called for moving his feet and Pike was arguing, Paul went over to Pike calmed him down and told him to bring in a big guy ( Reiber) to cover the inbound play. Pike listened to him and turned around and put in Reiber.

All hell breaking loose and Paul was calm and knew what to do, will be a great coach one day.

EDIT: here is the video

Let's deal with the coaching speculation in other threads:

Steve is never leaving. Nothing to worry about.

Ewing is done and look for them to go after Amaker.

Knight could very well take NJIT.

Anderson is done if he doesn't Dance and he won't. Pitino or Matt Langel.

Iona-Pitino isn't coming back and David Klatsky, now at NYU will be given a look.

OT: Kansas

I can tell you that it's disheartening watching Kansas put up numbers in a bowl game where we can barely get a first down. Kansas arent' world beaters but Leipold at least has them looking like a real team. Do we overrate Jersey ties? The HS coaches on our roster haven't done anything. Nunzio and Augie couldn't recruit players who played for them. The only coach that actually pulled his weight in terms of recruiting is gone. Maybe Leipold wouldn't have succeeded here, but he has won at every single place he's ever been. He's never been fired from any job. Maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad idea afterall.

OT: RIP Jeremiah Green-45 years old- drummer from Modest Mouse

Drummer from Modest Mouse. Died from cancer at 45.

So why can bball prosper in face of NIL but not football?

All I hear around here is how NIL will kill is.

Yet our basketball team and bball recruiting is the best it's been in 45 yrs. We have multiple top 100 kids committed and two top 10 kids who are seriously considering us. We had no transfers last year.

So why is basketball prospering in the face of NIL with top results and recruits while football cannot?

Comedian Chris Gethard Twitter Thread on Game

If you know him or seen his act you know he's an RU alum and tells a lot of funny stories about NB in the late 90s/early 00s. He also grew up in West Orange a die hard hall fan and never changed his allegiance. He made a poorly worded tweet last night that got some RU fans riled up. But funniest part is in one of the RTs where he admits to once taking a "Maritime Adventure" course with Alvydas Tenys lol.

Rutgers basketball: Kevin Willard is coming to town

Maryland won at Rutgers last year, but a lot of the roster has changed. What will Willard tell his Terps about the atmosphere that awaits?

“Honest to God, I don’t know yet,” he said. “Not sure if I want to spook them, because I know that especially after the win last night, that place is going to be rocking.”

He’ll be received badly, for sure. Once the archrival, always the archrival, and the cancellation of the 2020 Garden State Hardwood Classic during the pandemic stuck in Rutgers fans’ craw. A brief recap: Amid the total non-conference overhaul that fall, a potential open date for the rivalry fell through when Seton Hall opted to visit Penn State instead, rather than burn its home turn in the Rutgers series without fans in the building. That made sense, but was not well communicated to the Rutgers side, which found out through social media.
