    That is a great pitch and hopefully it would work. My concern is, as someone posted on another thread, that if you look at the OSU Defensive recruits, few if any list Ash as the coach who recruited him. How will he improve that in an area he has no experience with.

This is a horrible hire by every measure - a non- recruiter with no local ties. Couldn't be worse and you should expect to see a lot more posts like this so get used to it.

    What's interesting in watching the team is that no matter whether a shot is taken early in the possession or late in the possession it's almost always a shot that does not result from an effective ball rotation. It's almost as if the players know that "...coach will yell at us if we shoot too...

    Laviano currently rated #4 qb in Big Ten

    I was far from a Nova fan and his repeated mindless over-the-line passes and other head-scratching plays were awful. But he was a much better passer than Laviano though, again, I don't think Nova all around was a particularly good QB.
