    I disagree, Muller has done everything right, and I do mean everything, except play well in games. And no, a redshirt Senior Captain playing the easiest position on the O-line cannot get beat on an inside rip. Muller should be playing Center.

    Dude, I'm not surprised, it's Black Mecca. One of the few cities in America where Black People are comfortable in their own skin. LSU and USC will pay Hermann, whatever he wants. What happens after Hermann will be very interesting. Can Houston sustain it?

    A bright spot in last Saturday's game.

    1. Laviano did have 24 completions. Sure he barely cracked 150 yards passing, but that's not the point. 2. Mehringer said before the game that he'd consider the offense a success if we completed the passes to at least 9 guys. Laviano had completions to 7, so that's good.

    Houston's gonna have a very difficult time keeping Hermann. When he leaves, will Houston be able to reproduce this level of success. I'm skeptical.

    Offensive Coaches tend to fair better in rebuilds, than a Defensive Minded Coach. So much rides on getting the right QB, and the correct system, that it clearly favors an Offensive Coach like Hermann. if Syracuse upsets Louisville, this board is gonna be in full melt down mode.

    Agreed, and the QB for FSU that was able to rally his team to victory was a redshirt. Just saying, playing QB ain't hard. Throw the ball to the open man.

    +1. . . a bunch of corn fed iowa dudes, expecting to come to NJ, and get it done. let's just say it's fair to be skeptical. I'm confident that they can get the skill position guys, but I'm not sure if Coach Ash can get the guys in the trenches that we need.
