Just curious what makes you think some (higher level) schools are possible wins, while a school like Michigan is a likely loss? I'll give you Ohio State. Haha.

10 wins is possible if you bet the opponent in the moneyline. Actually, it probably isn't possible because I doubt there will be a moneyline for 10 of our games...

10 wins after a 4 win season and losing our star receiver.... Not to mentioned a new coaching regime. Lay off the kool-aid brother. Im hoping for 6 and a bowl win. This thread should get interesting

I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that you're at Tiki Bar in Point pounding 16oz double-shot Screwdrivers while double-fisting with Oyster shots.

He probably got his car towed for leaving it in a "no parking" area, forcing him to leg out bar hopping in the 100 degree heat. Add the booze and he was a little dizzy when he posted.

Its my observation that Ohio State and Michigan are a cut above the rest in terms of elite talent, elite depth, and elite coaching. John O'Korn is Michigan's likely starter, who ripped our defense in 2013 when playing for Houston.

Schools may have one of the attributes but not all three. Washington, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Iowa are blue collar teams like us, who have lost a lot to graduation, so at the very least, we should be competitive with them, and possibly pull out the win.

You lost me at a 20 point road underdog game at Washington as a possible win.

we were a 20 point favorite when fresno played us, and we lost. I think we've got a great chance, because they simply don't respect us, and we're going to go out there, and SMACK them in the mouth. This is a NEW era of Rutgers Football!!

1983 3-8, 1984 7-3 with a new coach (Anderson) and a very good schedule. Upset Syracuse on the road 19-0 (the Orange beat #2 Nebraska the next week), beat two bowl teams including ranked West Virginia. Losses were 15-12 to PSU. Other losses were to ranked Kentucky and a very tough BC team (Year of the Miami Hail Mary), which was a very good game against Flute and Co.

So yes, it is possible to have a much better season with a new coach. 10 is a big reach, but we will be much more competitive.

I think we give Washington all they can handle and maybe just maybe more ....
Within recent memory, coach Petersen ranked #8 among all coaches when it came to success against the point spread (ATS). Washington will not be sleeping on Rutgers.

Also I love how he has @ Washington as a possible win. Could very well be toughest game of year. We're going cross country with a new coach and system against a team some have ranked in top 10.

We're likely 20 pt dogs on this game.

Need to understand rutgersal language and logic

When he predicts us to lose -it really means blowout loss
Possible win= loss
Win = maybe.

So by that logic he is really predicting a 6-6 at best which is somewhat reasonable.
This is the perfect translation, well done

We're going to win 10 games with a coach that rutgersal said was a bad hire. Imagine if we would've hired Al Golden he would've predicted 15-0, (NC, Grey Cup, and Superbowl).
