I was going through some storage items and came upon the program that I had purchased at MSG for the 2003 World Freestyle Championships. Went to all the sessions with my dad. I framed the tickets for session 1 that my father and I sat in. He's 87 and somehow fought off COVID19, but it took a toll on his cognitive stability. God willing, some of that comes back. Anyone on this board go to that tourney? I'm offering the program to anyone who went to the tourney for free, if you remember it as fondly as I do. Just tell me a story about what you remember from it. Share it here and I will give you the program. It's in very good condition.
For me, I remember the buzz was around Cael Sanderson, his first worlds, reaches finals against a great Russian wrestler Sajid Sajidov from Dagestan, but loses a close battle with terrific defense and counters by Sajidov.
