Read that the site has to be moved from Foxboro because of a conflict with the FIFA World Cup. Might be an opportunity for Rutgers. Always thought the geography was ideal for travel for the major fan bases as far as making it a day trip for all

Rutgers really is the geographic center of the lax universe. 90 minutes +/- to most of LI, 3 hrs to Maryland and CNY plus all of NJ and eastern PA a short drive. Those are highly populated areas with the highest concentration of lax fans and players.
I remember going to the final four at the old Rutgers Stadium as a kid. Between the games, the tailgating and all the open fields to play lax, it was an amazing experience. I bet if it happened again it would be one of the best all time.
Probably won’t happen because not enough luxury boxes, but even Met Life would be a much better location than Foxboro.

Rutgers is a GREAT spot to host the FF. Hope that happens again soon. Pro stadiums blow for lacrosse.
